Lots of real good info on DIY'ing :) Excellent posts Mike :)
Steeping is a myth, very few of the juices I make improve with age.
FA custard is an exception,& it does change colours while it steeps :)
Steeping is a myth? Um.... Not sure I agree with that. Heck I've had some juice actually go bad in the cupboard (over steep? Lol) I'm sure certain mixes don't get much better with steeping but I feel most juices benefit from steeping. The molecules all mix together or something? Not sure "why" just think it "does". Ymmv

Good Mojo day. Built two diferent dual coil Mizers and they came out spot on.

Wish I could say it was always like that, but some days I lose my Mojo and cant do a decent build no matter how hard I try. Other days, it just flows naturally and comes out just right!
I think we've all had those days! I'm stubborn and would really benefit from eye glasses... But of course I resist. Between arthritis in the hands, somewhat bad vision, an angry temperament - hell I'm lucky I haven't caused a fire with some of my lousy builds! LMAO [emoji23]

I will say, I've been using the aromamizer v2, the afc ring is sooooo much nicer, the delrin drip tip is more comfortable, the flat(ter) top is esthetically pleasing. Just a nice atty. Makes me want a supreme! And definately want a silver one for my ERM+ #046!

On a side note, I'm not sure I mentioned this, went to a Vape shop a few weeks ago, the guy was violating my erm+ with his eyes (LMAO) he had to ask what mod is that, I told him, so he want curious how it opened to exchange the battery, I explained it was a full 200w rechargeable. He was like oh this is one of those 3s lipo? So I said yeah... The sound of shock about the lipo was a little unexpected from a dude in a Vape store. But the vast majority of vapers here are mechanical box users with drippers. Cloud blowers (you know the type)... It very rare to find or see vapers who are not wearing black t-shirts, with those big ear hole things, etc... Not that there's anything wrong with any of that. But I swear every time I walk in a Vape store I immediately feel out of place as the oldest person there, with no tattoos, no piercings... I hope y'all understand what I'm saying otherwise I sound like a real a hole.

I started with cigar flavors, but moved on to fruits/pastries/savories REAL quick, whenever I came close to nailing a cigar flavor all it did was make want the real thing. I mix some tobaccos for friends, but still wont vape them myself.
Man I looked for a cigar flavor for months. Never found ANYTHING even remotely close. Once I stopped looking for a cigar replacement I really started to enjoy vaping. Like you, found the rainbow of flavors. Fwiw I never did find anything even close to a cigar flavor.

One of my first DIY's with a flavor not permitted to mention here required Kona coffee for the skunky part. I didn't like it much so I shipped it off to my cousin in Texas. There was about 15 ml still here that sat for a year, it then got really mild and tasted more like coffee.
Edit: OMG, it's still here...steeped for over 4 years...time to get rid of it I guess.
Not allowed to mention? Aliens!?

Sitting down, facing forward.
For me the Aromamizer V1 is great. I have the V2s, as well, and they're OK, same build deck and capacity. The AFC ring on the V2 just gets in the way for me. I run them both wide open and the ring on the V2 adds to the outside diameter making it impossible to fit into one of my side by side mods where a V1 goes in easily.

I haven't been in a B7M in years. There are two, basically right around the corner from me and I may stop by them just to see what they have and catch the local "flavor" of vaping.

It's not over steeping, the nicotine is actually oxidizing :( If you leave a small amount say like in atty,
for a long period of time it gets real dark, oxidization is degrading the nicotine.
Thats why for long term storage you make sure there is little to no air in the nicotine bottle.
If you feel steeping is helping your juices, by all means go ahead and steep :)

So I keep seeing mention of these magnetic stirrers. Anybody know where to get one cheap for DIY mixing?
Make one! Search Instructables Web site magnetic stirrer. Made mine for about 25 bucks and spare parts I had laying around.

I've got one of these on my keychain, does that even count? You would not believe how many times I use it, it's always there when I need it........

I had to figure out where this post was!

I ordered one a couple of weeks ago. I attached it to my keychain and it's come in handy a couple of times already. It's tiny and light. Not the easiest to open/close and definitely a 2 hand operation. There's a clip to detach from where you tether it which is a great feature.

Speaking of keychain tools, I also have a ThruNite Ti AAA flashlight on my keychain and it puts out about 60-90 lm which is more than enough to light up anything within 20'. I use Duracell AAA batteries and they last a LONG time. I've had 3 different AAA type lights on my keychain and this is the best, IMO. It uses a special conductive foam that allows more voltage as it compresses. The Ti has 2 brightness and it's nice not to twist on/off/on/off/on (3 levels) to get brighter like my Olight i3 or iTP A3 EOS. Just twist to turn on and keep twisting to get 2 (brighter) mode.

Just curious, does this entry show up when you view "Recent Activity" in my profile?

Not that I mind, just curious. I asked to be tagged when they delete/edit my posts, otherwise I am often not even aware of it, if it was a page or two back in the thread.

Thanks VB, guess it doesnt show there.

I am in favor of getting the notification tags though. For example, my post in this instance was very benign IMHO, I didnt think I was anywhere near the edge. In a fast moving thread, if the Mods dont get to their censorship for an hour or two, that post would have been a page or two back and I would have never have know there an issue with it.

This way I will know.

I prefer 2 hole mode personally. 4 holes is way too open for me. I also like the flatter top on the v2. Otherwise it's exactly the same as the v1 (obviously).

This thread has got to hold the record for highest # of censored posts I have seen to date here:

Electronic ciggarettes are not what you think
There is absolutely nothing productive in that thread imho. There are mainly people venting and spewing personal opinions. Which is not to say anybody is wrong or right in there... Way to much passion over there and I can't believe I read 15 pages of it. And who knows how many posts were gone I didn't get to see.

The only thing I'll say is, everyone is entitled to their opinions - whatever that may be. I'm done.
