My son and I got to talking about that, he made the comment that how could McDonalds not have blocked super size me... But "they" are able to block this... I said I doubted McDonald's had any political lobbyist or influence. I would hate to think the movie could be stopped or blocked? Admittedly I don't understand how a movie release is done or handled.
I have read that my area is the second most populated "vape dense" area in the country behind Los Angeles. I don't know thats accurate or not, but I know we have several smaller theaters that play indie movies like this all the time (not AMC, Cinemark, regal, etc). My point is I would think the vape shops alone would be able to sell 100 tickets? I'm assuming that's part of the requirements to getting it shown in your area.
I can see your point, Super size me never hurt McDonalds at all, their sales are better than ever.
You can kind of categorize it as no publicity is "bad' publicity
vaping is hurting BT! Not only that if vaping was allowed to go main stream with every body on board.
It would kill BT & they know it.
I don't know for sure or can't prove it but BT is behind it. Follow the Money!
