My son and I got to talking about that, he made the comment that how could McDonalds not have blocked super size me... But "they" are able to block this... I said I doubted McDonald's had any political lobbyist or influence. I would hate to think the movie could be stopped or blocked? Admittedly I don't understand how a movie release is done or handled.

I have read that my area is the second most populated "vape dense" area in the country behind Los Angeles. I don't know thats accurate or not, but I know we have several smaller theaters that play indie movies like this all the time (not AMC, Cinemark, regal, etc). My point is I would think the vape shops alone would be able to sell 100 tickets? I'm assuming that's part of the requirements to getting it shown in your area.

I can see your point, Super size me never hurt McDonalds at all, their sales are better than ever.
You can kind of categorize it as no publicity is "bad' publicity :)
vaping is hurting BT! Not only that if vaping was allowed to go main stream with every body on board.
It would kill BT & they know it.
I don't know for sure or can't prove it but BT is behind it. Follow the Money!

Great video!
I'm all ready wondering how much BT will offer Dr Fong to fudge the results?
Maybe they will just send over some of the Clintons team to create a mysterious accident!
Your starting to sound as frustrated as I am Steamer!

Actually I am short 1, can you save me one please?

Maybe we can work out a trade, I might could find a screen if you needed it.

I hadn't thought about my old screen not functioning; I'll test it on the current working board. I'll set aside 2 JSTs for ya when I get them.

Just gave this a go with seven wrap 26ga ni200, 4.3mm id coil, rayon, coming in at .09 ohm. I didn't block any of the holes, I pulled some fibers between the posts and set the wick over them. Easy to reset the post and easy to build, took a little fussing with the wick but not too bad. I have the temp set at 475, nice vapor and flavor, looking forward to seeing how it goes. :thumb:

Update on my single coil (if anyone is interested). I pulled the wick, took a tad smaller drill bit, using the shank I pulled the coil forward making it smaller (about 4mm ID) now setting so the air coming in from the two holes is now hitting the center of the coil. Before with the coil set back closer to the post the air was only hitting across the front of the coil, now it has to flow around the sides. Rewicked with rayon, off the bat there is a huge improvement, much bigger vapor and flavor, in fact more then I can take, I had to drop the temp back down to 430F. Now time will tell how it preforms.

When you rewick that wily I'd like to see the juice holes. How many are exposed?

A have a question for our all-in-one thread here... Mixing.

So I had this juice, coconut and peanut butter... I think it was 10% coconut (tpa) and 5% pb (tpa) and it was harsh and yucky.. I added some sucralose sweeter (tpa) and it went from terrible to delicious. I basically added 1 drop per ml to sweeten.

What's the normal for using sweetener? 1 drop per mil seemed high but I was trying to salvage an unusable juice and it worked for me.

(Oh and yeah, it's strong coconut with a hint of pb)

I left all four holes open, I didn't block any. When I wicked it I pulled the rayon into two strips then twisted it together on the end to feed it through the coil. This time I pulled the wick up through from the bottom but I had the two tails, one draped down each side of the deck. Once I had the coil wicked, I split each tail and cut it off at the bottom of the coil, this left me with one tail thinned to 50% and I cut it so the ends just set lightly on the deck. For the hole that's in the "corner" between the two posts, I used a fine needle, reached in from the outside in and pulled some of the fibers out between the post then tucked them over that corner hole. This pic is not from the last time but you can see where I pulled some of the wick between the posts, there is one juice hole in the corner.

Oh ok... I was under the impression when you rotate that post 90* it covers some of the juice holes in the deck? I guess I was wrong.

No it doesn't cover the holes, the positive post turned 90 deg sets right in between two holes. And actually there is also a small gap under the post. In the other thread started by the guy who came up with the idea, he put a thin layer of silicone under the post so it will cover the two holes on that side, then he drilled a hole where the positive post use to sit. I've been using ethyl maltol since I started with DIY to "mellow" flavors. It may not be as sweet since I usually use one to three percent.

Oh yeah, I found PB to be a pretty strong flavor but YMMV.

Sorry, cant really help you on this one. I quit using sweeteners a couple years ago. Whether based in reality or not, I was convinced the sweeteners were contributing heavily to coil gunk up. I rarely have coil gunk up now, but I have also changed just about everything since then too. Wire, atty, flavors, everything.

Yeah, sweeteners gunk coils without question, but they also can bring out flavors in a way nothing else can. I'm happy getting 200ml or so through a build and have pushed them to 400ml when I get really lazy even with the EM in the mixes.

No you're right, the sweetener absolutely contributes to coil gunk - but in this juice's case, which was an experiment one night during a mixing session, before the sweetener it was terribly harsh - borderline unvapeable. Amazingly after the sweetener - the harshness mellowed or got covered by the sweetness? and the juice is actually pretty darn tasty. One of the things I LOVE about Castle Long and gentlemens reserve is the coconut - that's why I put 10% coconut in this...and you can taste it for sure.

I've been DIY'ing for a while, and nothing I've made is excellent imho. Some are terrible, some are ok and some are decent...this one turned out nice. I was SHOCKED the sweetener made it taste that much different (for the better).

DIY mixing in my opinion is a lot like cooking, just because you go buy the stuff at the store doesnt mean you can replicate that meal a good chef makes. Heck, all I can do is BBQ - the wife does all the real cooking... I've tried, but she put a stop to that early in our marriage... she told me she loved me but I wasn't much of a cook LOL.

A truer statement had never been spoken :)

I find the longer I DIY the less flavouring I use! at first 15 to 20 % + was common now I'm mixing at 5 to 10% max flavouring. I find I'm getting better results with less % of flavouring :)
Also my coils stay clean way longer :) Win Win :)
