Know KTM? or someone used it to run preheats on kanthal coils I believe.
Look at the size of her cup!

I almost messed up and put the link......ECF don't like.My apologies. it was DWCraig that I remember saying it was possible to preheat Kanthal builds with that curve in the DNA75 thread. I just can't keep anything straight anymore. Early onset I assume.
Thought ECF Backed off realizing the need for supporting resources to educate users in proper use of mods.I almost messed up and put the link......ECF don't like.

I've posted links before, never heard a word, maybe I got lucky.
Aaaaaand, thanks for that.I almost messed up and put the link......ECF don't like.

Thought his "apology" tried to put the 10 year old comments in perspective & was fairly well done, The flap seems blown way out of proportion as they usually are. Comments were crude & odd even if in a locker room.I bet Trump is wishing we could forget the things he's said.......![]()

So, gave this a try per @SlickWilly 's programming and instantly remembered why preheats don't work great for me. It's my vaping style. I take 6-10 pulls in a row and set my mod down for a while. Then repeat. I set my power levels for between 10% and 15% higher than needed to reach temp anyway so not having preheat set only effects the first and second of my long string of pulls (a little longer heat up time). Setting preheats higher than 10-15% above what's needed (like 25%) puts a slight burny edge to my 3rd or 4th pull or so because the coil is already hot. That seems doable with the new firmware allowing for material type changes on the mod. Set the profiles up for 40w,60w,80w....etc and just swap material types on the selected profile. I like it, even if it is a couple more button presses.
Thought preheat only kicked in if you were significantly below temp. At least I never noticed it in my Escribe charting or vape when chainvaping..So, gave this a try per @SlickWilly 's programming and instantly remembered why preheats don't work great for me. I mostly vape diy nets which are extremely sensitive to overheating so I've reverted back to wire specific profiles where all I have to do is select the appropriate profile on the mod for the build and adjust power and temp.
Still, I like slickwilly's approach if my vaping style and juice allowed for it.
I think the whole thing is just another waste of time. Every one of the hypocrites in Washington has said things like that and worse. Now they all play "holier than thou". It's disgusting to say the least, the reactions more disgusting than the original comments. Trump never had political ambitions until recently and therefor never took the "precautions" regular politicians take as a way of life to hide their true feelings and personalities.
It's odd that none of the emails leaked by WikiLeaks are being mentioned in the lame stream media. I guess it just doesn't fit the narrative that they promote. So much for news media.
