willy come on down here with that snow blower - i might need some help ;)

I see it's not looking good, they say there may be a lot of ice too, that could knock tree's and branches down on power lines. Better stock up on supplies and a way to keep warm for a few days! If you drop off the radar, we'll know it's gotten bad! Up here it's been a couple days of snow, couple of rain, then back to snow.

The cold and snow made it here last night. About 11°f and 2" of the white stuff which for you all out west isn't much. Steep hills here in the Ozarks coupled with poor highway dept. winter mechanization makes for treacherous travels. We're all stocked up and snuggled up.

Having lived in New England for a while, I am no stranger to the white stuff. Up there it was taken in stride. How well equipped the municipalities are to deal with it makes all the difference in the world. Down here in Southern VA they are not so well equipped, nor are the OTHER drivers so experienced.

I think snow is great as long as I watching it from my Living Room window, having to go to work in the stuff sucks.......

People Are Eating Crickets for Protein, and Here's Why You Should Too. ... Every 100 grams of cricket contains 69 grams of protein, compared to the same portion's 43 grams in beef or 31 grams in chicken, according to the Atlantic. Crickets are high in fiber and iron and have all the essential amino acids.
