Did you order an air mouse too? I'd be interested in how you like it once you get it, been looking at them for a while.

Yes Sir I did, like Mike said they are a must :) Got this one $12.88 W-SHARK MX3 2.4GHz Wireless Air Mouse + Qwerty Keyboard - 81 keys / 2*AAA / w/ backlight / 160DPI at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I will let you know how it works :) Most of them have built in batteries & are a hassle for shipping :(
I have one of these that I'm using now MyGica KR-41 Air Edition, Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Remote: Amazon.ca: Electronics It works nice, but who knows maybe the 12$ one will to :)

Sitting down, facing forward.
Air mice are a must for Kodi, lots of typing required sometimes.

I like this one (have 2 of them) as it is one the of few in the "traditional remote" profile that is backlit.

The other popular style is this, but I didnt care for it, I like the "one handed" style of the one above.

The thing that amazes me is how than can do something like this so "inexpensively". Totally amazing and I may spring for a couple for my laptop and desktop (keyboard style).

Back to vaping for a minute...

I track recharges on all my batteries, fixed and swappable. I've got 116 cycles on the 1590G with a 1000mah nanotech, in service since 09-2015, and 80 cycles on the ERM+ with a 1300mah nanotech, in service since 01-2016. Both are still running fine but the 1000mah is showing signs of "expansion". I'll keep it going until it dies.

I've got four of those 1000 nano's in service about the same amount of time, two of them are swelling, one started long ago. I have a few other brands and these are the only lipo's that have swelled. All of them are running DNA 200's and are recharged by the boards.

On the battery testing subject, How hard is to test the lipos in E-Scribe?
I know it can be done just asking what it entails.
I have 2 diffrent 1300Mah lipos, Turnigy & Gens Ace. I think the Gens last way longer, just want proof :)

It's easy, hook up a load to the 510, enter the room temp in escribe, set the watts you want to run the test at, (I've used both 20W and 40W, 40W recommended, and the test were almost identical) start the test and escribe will automatically run the test, you don't have to sit and watch it. Make sure you hit the record button so you can go back and look at it later for reference.

For a load I used two of these wired in parallel, bolted to a big old CPU heat sink, they never get hot enough that I can keep my hand on them. I used a base from an old kanger protank for the 510 connector and soldered my wires to it. I can post a pic of the load I made tomorrow, my camera needs charging. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089A8N2U

ETA: I based mine off the one Mike made and with his advice.

That one looks to be the same as mine, just different brandname, which is common, bet they came off the same production line. If it is, you will be pleased, it works very well.

I was testing big fat lipos, and at 100w so the test wouldnt take as long. This is the one Willy is referring to:

Dropped my Reauleux DNA200 on my tile floor this morning. Cover and batteries went flying everywhere. The mod still works but no display:(
Maybe just disconnected internally?
Maybe, it is possible the ribbon connection got jarred loose.

Anyone do any metal detecting? I bought my first detector and a real cheap pin pointer last summer, first day out I discovered a good pinpointer is a must, otherwise your going to be spending a lot of time digging bigger and bigger holes trying to find the object in the ground. I shelved detecting but I want to get back into it this summer, been looking at pinpointers and I'm leaning toward this one, wonder if it's as good as they say or if there is a better choice? One thing I like about it is this one has a proximity feature, the beep and vibration increases as you get closer to the object making it easy to truly pinpoint in the dug hole. The cheap one I had and most others will beep at one rate no matter where you stick it in the hole so you didn't know if it is to the right, left or deeper.

The deed for my one acre property dates back to the 1800's, the house was built by the first banker in this village, then it was a farm, my garage/shop is actually a small two story barn with hewed and sculpted beams from the chew marks left by the horses and cows. The fellow I bought the property from had the farm and a meat cutting business here, there is walk in cooler in my basement. After he retired in the 60's he broke it up and sold the outer lots leaving the one acre, house and barn that I now own. On the back side of the property where it is wooded there is the original horse wagon trail that lead into town. I've been here for 30 years and have always wanted to detect the property and trail, I'm sure there some neat treasures waiting to be found, maybe that banker had coin stashes from money not on the books!

So is there an easier way? Or do I have to build one of these?
BTW Thanks for the info :)

There's a few threads on the evolv forum with pics and chat about how some used loops of wire to make a resistor/load, I never tried that but I've got to think the wire gotta get pretty hot so you'd have to be careful. Here's one of the threads and one of the pics from there Proper use of Battery analyzer - Evolv DNA Forum
