Well, maybe we can do the same thing with murder and bank robbery. The people that do those things do them even though it is against the law. Those are problems too and against the law but if we legalize them and tax them we can make money off them as well. Bottom line, to me, is making something legal doesn't eliminate the problem and drugs are a problem.

Both of those thing cause "harm", therefor violate my personal code.

What someone does in the privacy of their own home, assuming it is not causing anyone harm, is their own business. Doesnt violate the code.

Now get behind the wheel while impaired, then you could potentially cause harm, violates the code.

This is way off base! & even out of line! We are talking about a weed that grows from the earth, Not Violent Crime!
It's coming weather you like it or not! It will be legal & regulated here in Canada by next year.
There are all ready states that have takin weed main stream, the rest will follow soon!

Therein lies the problem, impaired judgement causing harm and the person impaired doesn't know, or want to admit, they're impaired. That's just one example of the harm that can, and is, caused. There are few things in life that don't include the potential of causing harm, somehow, but impaired judgement just makes it too easy.

Making something legal does not eliminate the problem is my whole point. Out of line? Just trying to point out where it can lead to, eventually, in terms of making things that are "popular" but not legal, legal.

Well, I dont believe in victimless crimes.

If there is a victim, whether due to impaired judgement or not, then it violates the code.

Sorry, but we've been misled about that plant much as the public is being misled on vaping. And vaping, alcohol consumption, and, well, other "recreations," it is a personal choice "we" don't need to make for "us." Sorry. Manning a deadly weapon on wheels is another story, of course, while recreating, but that's already against the law.

Me? Only beers and wine, with an occasional margarita . . . but I won't begrudge anyone theirs.

I'd rather have standard shift, but they took that away from me when I lost my left leg below the knee, I'm restricted to auto only. I was still driving my standard shift Nissan truck, I made the mistake of walking into the DMV to renew my lic wearing shorts, the lady asked me when I lost my leg then informed me I wouldn't be able to renew my lic unless I agreed to the restriction. I pointed to the truck outside and told her I drove it there but it didn't matter, drove it home and pulled the plates, sold it, I should have worn pants that day. They also pulled my MC endorsement, but I didn't care, I hadn't rode in twenty years.

Minimum Wage to Go up in Ontario!
It's about time! Even if it drives up the cost of living a bit, it's a good thing.
All the extra money minimum wagers make will go directly into the economy

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne has announced a plan to increase the provincial minimum wage to $15 an hour by Jan. 1, 2019.

The increase would be phased in over the next 18 months, rising to $14 an hour on Jan. 1, 2018, and then to $15 the following January.

After that, it will rise annually with inflation

Every car I have owned has been a standard, same with my wife. Our car that we bought new 7 years ago is a standard..........still on its first set of brakes and tires ( she does most of the driving). Now my work van is an automatic sort of hard to drink coffee and vape while driving a stick, but my old work truck was a stick.
