I guess that's the part I don't understand... why does it need to be defended? Why does it matter? over the last 6-7 years I've changed my vaping habits more ways than I can count, I treat pv's like appliances, if one thing makes it easier for me than the other ill switch without looking back. That's why I switched from mechs to all dna'S & TC in the first place I doubt I'd be able to vape cotton without it...

even today I mostly use a DNA squanker out of the house, mtl and dtl tanks for various situations.
Just as an FYI (in case you missed the beginnings way back when), the Tank vs Squonk thing is sort of a chide among us in this group. None of it is serious, its all in play. We just do it to yank each other's chain. I.e. - running joke.

To each their own Vape - More power to them.....

ANd yes, I too have changed over the years. Ain't a damn wrong with that.

Now I do promote what I believe are safer methods (hence the OTHER thread), but squonk vs tank is in no way related.

curious what mike will find with his beta chip :?:

you'd think something like that would have been spotted by the beta testers ............
Not gonna happen tonight, I am not in the right "zen space" to do any testing tonight.
Will do it tomorrow though.

TBH, the mast majority of the testing done during beta was on the software, so many changes with the whole menu builder thing. I had just switched to TU and wasnt seeing any problems there.

The blogs look great Mike, great work and accurate info.
More power to ya in trying to kill off trollers that insist on repeatedly posting false info and half truths. I have some experience with those types and found that it really doesn't matter what evidence I brought forward or what my formal education or work experience is, they just keep on defending their bs position. As I proved wrong one false claim after another they just kept coming up with more and more of them. I'm not even sure why they are bent on misleading fellow vapers, pride maybe?
Anyway, good luck my friend, you are doing a great service to the vaping community.

Something I found fun to do is to follow them to their other threads and rail on them there.

Excuse the rambling post, not quite a rant, but lengthy.

My first experience with Trolls was back in the mid 80s. Back then (before the WWW even existed), newsgroups (aka Usenet) were the main form of public discussion groups back then. In fact, the Usenet is the prehistoric DNA of all modern groups like ECF, FB, Yahoo, etc, and all others. There were thousands of groups on every topic from legal to illegal, and moral to immoral. I mainly hung out in the Coffee, Tea, Stereo, Aquarium, Kites, Electronics, and Cigars groups.

Trolls were very present throughout the Usenet. People will say things in front of a keyboard that they would never say to your face, and back then some folks "thought" there was actually some anonymity on the net. Trolls mainly feed on controversy, often accompanied by very negative vibes. They would debate that "water wasnt wet" if given the chance. Thats why you could NEVER win with a Troll, you just fed their energy by debating with them. This is where the "Dont feed the Trolls" philosophy got started. If everyone simply didnt engage the trolls, they eventually went away. They fed on controversy and if there wasnt any, then they got bored and moved on. That was the prevailing wisdom, and still is. If that didnt work, then the concept of "PLONK" came in. (Placed on Newsgroup Killfilter). This meant you never even saw the Troll's posts, your newsgroup reader filtered them out. On ECF the "Ignore User" is the modern day equivalent.

Now another factor comes into play. For every person who posted, they were 10-50 silent lurkers who read these posts without ever posting. Many didnt have the social inclination, some didnt fell qualified to weigh in, others didnt want to get involved, some were just scared. For whatever reason, the number of lurkers far outweighs the actual posters. Ask any Forum Admin and they will validate this.

For most of those old coffee/tea/aquarium/stereo posts, I didnt care about the trolls. The stakes werent high enough to care. The topic of vaping as safely as possible is a different matter though, the stakes are higher. In this particular OTHER thread there are ~200 active posters, so that means there are probably about 2000+ lurkers on that thread. Many of these lurkers are noobs who have no clue what to believe. If I/we dont challenge the Trolls with credible info, if the Troll is allowed to post misinformation and nobody responds, then these lurkers might actually believe the vitriol the Trolls are spreading. To me this matters.

That is why I went to the effort of posting my credentials. If I challenge a troll, and a lurker reads it, I believe most lurkers are intelligent enough to see the difference between a Troll (who typically has no credentials) and someone who not only talks the talk, but also walks the walk. These lurkers might then read some of my other posts and think and question for themselves, and weigh the info being presented. I am not trying to "Win over the Trolls", I am trying to win over the lurkers.......

This OTHER thread is different, misinformation needs to be challenged!

Would this be affecting the VV VW part of things on it too...like in the JAC Vapour Series B DNA 75 ?
We have a lot of sort of sudden interest around here on this mod.
I know NOTHING about that mod, so I cant render an opinion till I learn more.

Just ordered a new Sky Line RTA Clone from Copper Vapes, only available on FB at the moment.
I guess we will see it on FT soon enough :)
It has the off set side posts & a new air disk multi changeable Air flow system :)
I like the off set post, like the merlin it's an easy build deck :)

OK, calling all NYers.....

I was contemplating ordering a pastrami from Katz's, but I also want a cinnamon Babka. Last time I ordered a babka from Katz the wrapper was punctured and it got dried out by the time i got it.

Is there someone else I should consider looking at for these two items that does mailorder?

Pretty cool design. Is the inside of chamber domed or conical shaped at the top? I've found that either of those features produce better flavor.

@BobC and @KTMRider etc,
Jersey counts too, heck I think Katz mailorder division is actually out of Jersey now.
