Since were on the topic of DNA75's & their limitations with an 18650.
I was finding that with a fused Clapton coil in my new SVA BF'ers, it wasn't giving me the punch or battery life I'm looking for :(
My solution? 3mm Notch coils :) All thou I'm not the biggest fan of SS.
These perform quite well with the limitations of a DNA75 on an 18650 :)

Any thoughts on these? I know the hype for the original, just stupid! IMO.
But this is a dna 60, No USB! :(
I watched a few YT vids & it looks like there are some pre sets Ni,Ti,SS.
It's 102$ with code "MAP" not to bad?
I kind of like that the tanks hidden & the classy high end look :)
It looks like a nice incognito, fits in your pocket mod :)

The original, and I assume the clone have the USB hidden behind the interior panel. It certainly is tempting.

Sitting down, facing forward.
IDK, Steamer. It looks nice as a sort of side-by-side or low tank mod, but that, more or less, proprietary tank system leaves me flat. Then add in the price and it isn't very attractive to me at the moment. Then again, I just spent $200 on parts for the lawn tractor so my wallet is a little thin right now.

I haven't seen any thing like that, I'd say it would be a bonus if there was?
There is this video on YT.
Showing how some guy does get it to connect to E-Scribe.
It's some thing I could do, if I wanted/needed to :)

The video I saw did a size comparison to a Reo Grand, it's about as tall & a little thinner :)
Thats pretty small!
There are plenty of tank options, you can use Kanger coils, Triton coils a RBA section from a Sub tank.
The "insider" I posted a link to.
I think it's pretty tempting :) For me, not an ADV for sure but a nice option for classy looking stealth vape :)

Looks like a long way to go to get it on to Escribe. I realize they went for small, but leaving off the USB port was a little too small if you know what I mean. I'll admit that I keep looking at it because it's an "insider" though. They're few and far between especially with an Evolv chipset in them.

Sounds like you want one :D It's only 100$ Some fools are paying close to a thousand for an original!
It comes with some pre sets, If you really need to connect it, your capable.
Get one! I did :D

Also there is a broken one in the classifieds A DNA40 it looks like it needs a new chip & a few scratches fixed. They want around a hundred for it!

I had one of the dna40 big screens billet box, and my cousin/roommate has the dna60 version, there isn't a USB port on it, so you have to take it apart & jury rig a USB connector if you want to put your maps on, then you close it up and forget about ever using escribe... the vape you get out of it largely depends on preference & the atty you used with it.

on mine I tried two of the bridges, a few of the ohman atty's and towards the end I got an exocet, my cousin has the insider & uses the in'ax carto on his. My favorite things for it are the ohman uno(?) I think it was called, and the in'ax carto.

I think I just really badly wanted to like it, I certainly spent way too much but I never got to the point where it was like ohmyglob awesome & I want to take this to work with me every day, or even just almost as good as my favorite tanks... so I eventually sold it, I think the people who love them so much, love them bc of the portability factor.

Thanks for your input :)
I think I have realistic expectations, I look at the tiny little atty & think this isn't going to perform like my favourite! I just think it's a classy looking little box that will probably work half way decent :)
If it's a POS, it wont be the first time I wasted some $ on vape gear I didn't like.

What is your "favorite" du jour?

Just got home from a shopping run to the big city, while in town I stopped by the electronics shop to pick up a few things. I noticed some fancy 3d printed things on the checkout counter, while I was looking them over the guy asked if I wanted to see more "Sure". So he takes me over to the printer where more things they made were sitting and I see a hammond G box they printed. I said, I'll be right back, got something in the car I want to show you. I retrieved one of my 200's, showed it to him, he asked to see inside so we found a screwdriver and I took the lid off. He liked what he was seeing, liked how I straighten the sides and asked how I made the USB and screen holes, "files and time" I told him. I told him, "You see the wasted space inside? Here's what I'm thinking, with one of those printers I could print these boxes with straight side, the openings already there and custom size it to just fit the battery, 510 and board." Hmmm.... $400.... I'm thinking about it. Imagine how small you could make a 60 mod Steamer!

I can confirm these Alpinetech P+ boxes will fit the chip, 510, and dual battery holder. It is tight, some of the gaps between metal and terminations will furl your eyebrows, but it will fit.

83.5mm x 57.5mm x 26mm

Alpinetech P+ CNC Box with 200 250 75 Cutouts TYPE1 Buttons&Magnets Included

Nice, a hammond 1590G box like the big one in my pic above is 100 X 50 X 25.5mm, (outside) it's mostly the length that is wasted space when I build them with a 200 or 75 board, that's using the 1000 or 1200 mah lipos I use.
