I converted a guy at work from smoking to vaping. I gave him a KTech Nano about a year ago and he was happy with it, running in watts mode. Now he is ready to grow, so I gave him one of those $20 DNA75s we got a little while back. I have a Merlin on order to go with it. Then it will be time to teach him how to wrap coils. He is an electrician so a lot of the battle has already been won, he understands ohms!

I was thinking of starting him on TI and rayon, what do you guys think?

Fantastic that you got someone away from those damn cancer sticks Mike! I'm not one to comment on wires, I tried a few different and always go back to nickle so....

Does he have redundancy of gear and supplies so he'll never be faced with not being able to vape Mike? I'd be happy to donate to help build him up so he's never faced with having to go buy cigarettes because he's out of supplies or has dead gear! Had that happen to me once early on and swore I'd never let it happen again!

I have taken care of him, he has never lacked. Except for maybe juice once, so I made him a quart, and told him next time he needed some he needed to come learn how to make it, he hasnt run out yet though.

BTW, I am on the lookout for a decent 3d print design I can get printed, DNA flavored, that takes two 2170 bats. You guys keep your eyes open please and send me the breadcrumb trail.
+ 1!! Alpine Tec makes one all ready, not 3D printed. But it's a brick :(
I to would be really! interested in a nice looking 3D printed Dual 21700 DNA mod, I could build my self :)

Mike, I have been eyeing up this for a while now. Sierra DNA75 DNA200 (133) DNA250 (167) by mamu on Shapeways
The original design was for 2 battery tubes but probably could be converted to hold dual 21700's. If you ask Her real nice maybe she will let you, or even her self mod the design for a dual 21700?
It also has 2 face plates for the regular DNA & the 75c.
This is a really nice looking mod! I would be way more than happy to have a dual 21700 version :)

Alpine, Hammond, Hanna, none of them have enough character for my taste.

Maybe, just maybe, I can pull that off.

There were the dual 18650 battery holders for the hotcig dx200's, they weren't cheap and were bigger then the 900mah pack. Don't know if you'd find many places stocking them now but you might find one as left over stock cheap or maybe even used or new old stock on ebay. Of course you'd also need the front half to put the board in, again I'm sure there are some out there both new old stock and used, just a thought.

Once the snow starts I'll be sleeping in, until then much to be done in preparation for it. :(

Same here, but if there's no snow I cut my firewood early in the mornings, usually in late fall/winter for the next year's supply. I like cutting wood when the spitters, critters and those fangy things are hibernating. Won't even go out to cut unless it's below 50°.
Weird, but I still enjoy hopping on the tractor, loading up the wood wagon with wood cutting gear and heading to the timber to cut. There's just something about it; being able to see through the timber for hundreds of yards, the sound of the saws, the smell of 2 stroke exhaust, watching the chips fly and the pinch in my back that's telling me, "Soon you'll be too old for this crap"!

Sitting down, facing forward.
I used to sleep in quite a bit if I had the chance. Noon was kind of normal for me. Now I can't seem to get past 5:30AM no matter when I go to bed. Bummer. Getting up early has always been, to me, like cutting one end off a rope and tying it to the other to make it longer but age has me cutting off that end.
