And the one that started it all and changed the world.
Show of hands, who else watched that live Ed Sullivan show?
Stopped by a local, fairly new veteran owned gun shop today, I'm all for supporting veteran's and local business, when I walked in a saw a new display of coffee, the owner told me this coffee company is also owned by a veteran, BLACK RIFLE COFFEE COMPANY I understand not everyone is fans of firearms, to each their own, but if not, I hope you could see past it, at least visit the link and maybe give the coffee a try and support a veteran.
The owner recommended the light roast called Silencer Smooth, I'll give it a try in the morning and report back. I look forward to trying them all eventually.![]()
I roast about twice a week, takes me a half hour each time, and I can multitask while doing it.
The smell of the roasting beans, I can see where that could get addicting and a pleasurable task. Like the smell of baking bread, prelude to the goodness to come. Mom and Grandma use to bake a lot of bread, I couldn't wait for a hot slice smothered with butter, a fresh cup of coffee from fresh roasted beans to go with it, man I'm drooling just thinking about it.![]()
I read that it's only effective for if you do it right before you grind them up & use them, I guess after they're stored is when the mold happens. & I figured I'd rather eat the mold than have to roast beans before every cup, otherwise i might have gotten into it. But any of the good coffee websites roast it right before sending it out so if you go through a bag every 1/2 weeks that's not too bad.I roast about twice a week, takes me a half hour each time, and I can multitask while doing it.
