Quite a few of us reported that IDIOT's video, but YT doesn't care about unsafe content. They would rather shut down legitimate vape related channels.

Should have told them you were "offended" by it, they would have dumped it in a heartbeat. ;)

My wife called me from her work today and says "my electric is leaking, I dropped it". My comments I can not post here. I'm just glad it's a clone of a $200 atty and not an authentic. If it's the glass then I have spares, if not I'll have lots of spare parts for my other one.

It turned out to be the glass, it lives.

Too easy...see the partial logo on it ?
Look at other items in their site...

Augvape Druga RDA - Authentic

:)

Wow! You're quick! It's almost scary.

With my big mitts, thumb screws just wouldn't work.

Me too, but amazing I am very good with tiny things. Wait a minute! Why does that sound so wrong?

Not going to make solid contact for TC either :(

So you are not one of them who grabs a jar out of the frig and say who the hell tightened this lid on so tight? Then I realize I live alone and say, oh yeah it was me.

Finished up the first 75C in a Hammond box yesterday, I was playing with the 75C last night trying to figure out how it all works, got the international firmware loaded but couldn't find the replay button on the mod screen. Played with the theme designer trying to tweak the default evolv screens to set up a replay button and made a mess out of it, I backed out and re-uploaded the themes and suddenly there's the replay button, did I manage to make it that way by accident or was it there all the time and I missed it?

Anyways, replay is showing now and it seems to work under TC, thought I read it doesn't work with TC?

No it works with TC, I know Mike uses it with TC profiles. But I don't really see the point with using it with TC though. As all you are doing with Replay is adjusting your vape by wattage only. And when you get the vape you want, it locks in the hot coil resistance. Now it plays by getting the coil to that hot coil resistance.

All using Replay with a TC profile is going to do is to lock in the temperature. Now when playing, you can change the temp setting and it wouldn't matter.

You can enable Replay on a TC profile :)
But Temp isn't how it configures the Hit!
To be sure your below your desired temp, you have to use good ol TC :)

Bill, all thou it is posable to tighten the lid on the pickle jar real tight by hand.
The same can't be said for a thumb screw atty :(
To avoid Resistance issues the grub screws need to be Tight!

True but TC has never been consistent over days, at least not for me. I find I'll sometimes have to bump up the temp to get the same vape, sometimes I'll have to lower it also but not as much as bump it up, not talking a lot, 10-15 deg F. Also when the atty get's hot the vape starts to fall off, I have several mods/attys with different flavors and switch between them when that happens. I'm hoping replay will be more consistent, time will tell, I put a new build on it and barely got it through break in before I feel asleep last night, right now it's on the charger for the first time getting the lipo's up to full charge for the day.

One thing I need to figure out, the screen goes blank when charging, how do I set the screen to stay on and show the state of charge when on the charger like non-color 75's and 200's? I don't see any settings for that.

Yeah I don't know about that some beasts can't tighten thumb screws too tight. But it also has a driver head on top too. So I assume it is designed to use thumb screws to quickly loosen and tightened, but the driver head is there to really torque it tight.

Yup, Replay handles that too. Now here is a payoff for Replay with TC I believe (or maybe 250C/75C does this too with TC profiles). As it factors in room temperature in with your vape temperature. Evolv employees are said to put their vape in the freezer at work so when they pull them out to vape, it should hit the same as at room temperature.

I haven't played there since I charge externally. But I am pretty sure I have seen it in EScribe.

I noticed room temp was at play, I'll need to run the case analyzer test but for now I used the figures from other the other Hammond mods I made using the 200's, not going to be an exact match but it's closer then the default setting that were on the board.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Willie, to get replay you need to do two things. Load the default, or a custom theme that supports replay, and enable replay in the profiles.

I use replay in TC mode exclusively. Going to power mode with replay, at least in my feeble mind, doesn't guarantee I'm at a safe temperature. It is amazing how consistent the vape is with replay, from the time you pick up the mod for that first hit, sitting cold, to after you've been chain vaping for a half hour. The same vape every time.

Lets Clear up this misconception right Now!
Replay is not TC, it use's a set of parameters to repeat a Hit consistantly.
To be absolutely sure you are below a certain Temp, you need to use TC.
This is my understanding, If I'm wrong maybe Mike can chime in and correct Me?

Yeah but he added Replay to his theme in the Theme Designer or whatever it is called. That should be fine.

Yeah it is true about wattage that there isn't anything really stopping you by mistakenly getting too hot. But the same can be said about TC too. Like mistakenly grab a hot coil and you could easily be 200°F or more hotter than your dialed in temperature. Or you can have a not good good connection and the temp can swing all over the place. And I am sure there are other reasons too.

One big plus about using Replay in wattage mode is that Replay/Wattage doesn't care about hot or cool coils. Either or will work just fine. I normally use Replay/Wattage with my SS coils and TC/only with my Ni200 coils. I know, I know, I really should use Replay/Wattage with them too. I'm working up to it. :)
