Wow! That is like 76% less than what I am paying now. That's like $166 per 5000ml. That one juice that I have been vaping for 3 years would cost me $694.44 per 5000ml.
I know it thins down thick juice. And it doesn't take much either.![]()
I mix 500 ml at a time except for those special occasions. At 12 mg I estimate it costs me about $36 per liter.
For sure it can be done even cheaper.
I was a two pack a day smoker. I was paying $6.xx a pack the last time I bought them in 2013. At $38 a pack, I'd have to think seriously about growing, curing, and rolling my own (assuming of course that this is legal on Oz?).poor smokers are now paying $38 per pack here, imagine that as a pack a day smoker....

I just did some mental math in another thread. The cost of the ingredients for my DIY juice is about $5. Per month.
Perfumers Apprentice, The Flavor Apprentice....same more or less. It' the word "The" that I get messed up on.Do you mean "TFA" rather than "TPA", dw? I use TFA peanut butter in one of my liquids and nowhere near 7%, that stuff is kind of strong to me, anyway. The same with Captain Black...
It's probably not too cold in OZ.. But even if it were, at $38 a pack, a small greenhouse would pay for itself by the time the first crop is harvested and cured.I too thought about growing my own tobacco. It's probably too cold where I live, they probably wouldn't grow well for one. Then I researched about the curing and needing 70% humidity, etc. And I thought paying for a bag of tobacco was the better idea.![]()

My porpoise for DW is to lower the "boiling" point of the liquid, to make it safer to vape. I'm mixing at 60/40, PG/VG, so viscosity is not a problem at all even without DW. If I remember the numbers correctly, highly unlikely, at 5% in my mixes it drops vaporization temperature by about 30F. I will say it has allowed me to either lower temperatures or increase vapor production if I leave the temperature at what I used before adding DW. Then, there's the added advantage of using 5% less of the other, expensive, consumables. My DW is actually tap water run through a five stage RO filter, essentially the same as distilling it.
So I guess you're saying it's not legal to grow your own tobacco in Oz?The jail cell they put you in for growing tobacco here would be prolly be cold though
Yeah, that's not a surprise at all. Heck, even in New Yawk, where legal cigs only cost ~$12-14 a pack, over half the cigs consumed are not "legal".[/QUOTE]Theres still plenty of cheap (and horrid) chop chop about though, so the only ones winning are the dodgy importers of illegal tobacco...
I don't think that guy has a properly working mod in TC. Way too low for even VG to aerosolize.Well I quickly set mine to 100°C and taken a vape. It wasn't hot at all. It was like 98% air and only 2% cold vape
IMHO it's all in your preheat and watts settings for the profile. Using either, you can achieve the exact same result. It's just if you want to change the temp or watts easier. With Power Dominant you could swing through the multiple temperatures. But with Temperature Dominant you could only select an average and that is it.

FWIW, it is legal here in the US.

It is verboten here, i think its a $50,000 fine plus 2 years in the clanger for personal use growing...
Edit/update:
Oops, its been revised, and not down
The new laws will increase the maximum jail term for excise offences from two to 10 years.
The maximum fine of $105,000 will rise to $315,000

Wow that is tough! I was thinking nowadays of growing tobacco for the nicotine for e-juice. But I have no idea how that is done yet. But can you brew your own beer and make your own wine? Or is this illegal too? What about distilling alcohol to run your own vehicles?

No this was mine I ran at 100°C and got about 2% vapor out of it. This was less than a week ago and I got six mods setup that I have been using for the past week. It shouldn't be that hard to figure out which one was it. PG vaporizes lower than VG if I recall correctly (most of mine are 30% PG), but neither should at 100°C. But I am sure my flavorings are water based and water would vaporize at 100°C. It didn't taste like water vapor though, so maybe some of the flavorings came with it. I dunno.
My Mother was from North Carolina so tobacco was grown by a lot of the family. Fond memories of the fields and curing. They also grew a lot of corn so I would hazard a guess wherever corn grows good so would tobacco? One of my uncles went to jail for growing a little "extra" crop in the mountains on his land.
