Four pounds works out to close to $10 unless the dollar is on a high or the pound took a dive.
Naw, it isn't anything that high. It's $5.12 and things are generally cheaper in the US anyway compared to Britain anyway.

The pod may be recyclable but it will end up in the regular waste stream. If it hit the recycle stream where I live, they'd pull it out and toss it in a landfill. Things that gripe me, can't recycle aluminum foil, basically pure aluminum, because they "can't handle" foil products. Seems like a waste to me, pardon the pun.
Wow! No aluminum foil either! Soon maybe band-aids are next. :(

Incidentally, now that plastic straws are a big environmental hazard the next target looks to be contact lenses. It seems they end up in the sewer systems, because people flush them, rather than in the regular waste stream. I guess we're gonna see a run on glasses real soon now. I also heard, somewhere, that the EU is set to ban matches but I don't know if that's to "save the children" or "save the environment".
Dang, I dislike straws myself and I know lots of people who loves them. And people are flushing them down the drain? What is wrong with these people? Banning matches would kill my barbecue grill meals. :( I suppose I could use two sticks.

now that plastic straws are a big environmental hazard

When I was a kid straws were made of Paper, with a wax coating :)
Here in Canada we are banning all plastic bag at retail stores :) IDK why we haven't been using Paper bags all along :)

$1.50 from China? That is like 3 to 6 weeks of wait

Come on Bill, exaggeration much? 6 to 15 days with E-Packet, Plus this is a stock up item, order many & have them on hand :)

Well they could and I don't see a problem except making a new casting isn't cheap.

I could see it in the future, Everyone wants more choices! I'm all most certain if the mods takes off well, they will have more pod options to come :) lost vape all ways has more door panels available after the fact! There is Profit in accessories :)
There's new bridges still coming out now for the BB :)

I thought the pound was up around $2.50. Shows you how closely I follow exchange rates, that number is from years ago I guess. Still, at five bucks a pop it's still more expensive than rebuilding a Mizer or Merlin.

They're starting to ban plastic bags here too, Steamer, but that's going to leave us stuck for "free" poopy bags to clean up after Leo. I remember the paper/wax straws, too, and how they collapsed so nicely when trying to drink a nice, thick, milk shake. Of course the last time I had a milk shake, good or not, is so long ago I can't remember it.

For you and many others around the world perhaps. But for me and anybody living probably within 600 miles of Chicago goes through Chicago customs first. That is an automatic penalty for at least a 10 day delay or longer. :( Remember this is the place that looses half of the magazines it is suppose to deliver. :(

I've been playing with this USB charging. Started with a HCigar VT133 12 hours ago and it said the battery was 54% and EScribe says cell 1 is 3.90v and cell 2 is 4.10v. I have maximize recharges selected.

Now the cells are the same as it was but the battery now says 43%. With an external charger this would take no longer than an hour at 1A to charge 100%. Why do we like USB charging again?

I guess you're just "lucky", Bill. I recharge a 4S, 2200mah, 250C (nominal 2amp rate), in about 5-1/2 hours and a dual 20700, 4750mah, 75C (nominal 1amp rate) in under nine hours. I monitor each charge with a USB meter so those times are accurate.

I could charge externally 4S, 2200mah at 2A in just over an hour. Dual 20700 4750mah externally I can charge at 2A in 2 1/2 hours. I can charge them at 4A at half that time. But the cells might not like it.

Got tired after 12 hours on USB and not getting anywhere. So pop them out and charged externally to 4.20v:

Cell 1 672mah was 3.90v (1hr to charge)
Cell 2 156mah was 4.10v (30 min to charge)

Was the other end of the USB cable plugged into a computer by chance? Only charges @ 500 mah on a 200 board with a data connection present.

Nope, I only plugged into the computer to get the EScribe readings. The rest of the 12 hours was plugged into a 2.4A port (DNA200 only does an amp at 5v anyway). I knew the DNA USB charging would have a problem with one at 3.9v and the other at 4.1v. I only use these two as a pair (LG HE2) but it has been awhile since I used them and one seems to be weaker than the other. But come on, 12 hours and nothing gained with USB?

I guess the obvious question was... where did you get 20700 cells that hold 4750mah? That should have been my first question.

Looks a lot like rebuilding all most any other Aspire coil head. Whats with the second coil thou?
It looks like it's just there for Air Flow? I didn't see any leads tie-in to the main coil.
I know when I'v done the Triton heads before, it took some trial & error to get the cotton just right. I had a lot of flooding, spiting & leaking first few tries :(

Please let us know how that turns out.
The video posted is the one I used, after a couple failed attempts I ordered some from My Freedom Smokes. The little spring certainly adds to the difficulty. The springs purpose: air travels down through it then back up through the coil.
