By all means check the board first, just remember that no screen without battery power.

Yes the 250c will not light the screen with out a battery connected Not even all white!

I'm running the latest international escribe.
It's a 3S Lipo.
I didn't test it first, I know I know.....

Will desolder everything and test, then look for a new board.

My missing Silo 250 had a 25 mm K5 styled sitting on it when it vanished, I have had the K5 replacement for awhile but still boxed. With the anticipation of receiving the replacement Silo tomorrow I have set up the K5 tonight. Tracking says Saturday, I'm figuring Friday.

So I took the board out. Inspected everything under magnification, it all looked good.

Unsoldered everything and cleaned everything up with solder wick.

Tried escribe and it connected! The board took a firmware update too.

Soldered everything back together and connected the screen before the battery.

BOOM!

I won it in a comp on my home forum, and took it as a kit.
