But that Boro box out of the box was extra stinky, a smell I shall call "Harbor Freight" scent.

Sure are some foul smells out of China! I received a package once that was wrapped in this smelly plastic wrap. Just touching it smelt up my fingers so bad I had to wash my hands twice! Left me wondering who would have even sent some thing so Foul!

I keep and use a little piece of scrap latex (physio stretchy band) for under my thumb.
tiburonfirst, how's Willy and your keyboard?
have not heard anything else from willy and figured it'd be best to wait a while before trying again. i don't want to pester the man ;)

keyboard is working but not snapped in in those 2 spots. tried dell support forums to see if anybody knows how those locks are supposed to work but no answers except one that was useless ...... sigh

Sitting down, facing forward.
I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but Willie is doing fine and has just had some things going on that have kept him off the computer for a while.

The markings are starting to wear off of my craptop keyboard, an Asus, and I'm in no hurry to replace it. Maybe I'll print out some P-Touch labels and stick them on, but they wear, too. When I was in IT, we had two instances where the user had literally worn off the entire alphabet from typing so much!

Thanks for the update Tibs and Awsum. I miss his stories :(
Who needs letters on the keyboard . When I learned to type somewhere around 1976, it was the first class of the day. Taught by an old drunk that would walk around slurring his words and a coffee cup full of booze. We could look at the keys all we wanted, cuz they were all blank and it was a manual typewriter. :grr:

I learned to type on a manual Royal, and hunt and peck is still my method  I already have the P-Touch and tons of tape so cost isn't a factor, but those stickers will save a lot of cutting and cursing time!

I dunno, I guess I was 6 years old coming home and found an old 50lbs Remington Model 18 in the trash. Carried it home and repaired it and learned to type. Unfortunately, I couldn't use all of my fingers since my smaller ones wasn't long enough to make that long key press travel to make a good impression (pun included :D). Still have it in storage.

Once I came into office (I normally worked in the lab and the field) and one of the secretaries asked if I could look at her computer and fix something. I said sure and I asked for her password. When I went to type it in, I made the mistake of glancing down at her keyboard and they were all totally blank. Strangely, my memory of where all of the keys were also went totally blank at that moment.

Hey gang! How the hell is everyone? Well I made a trip to the city to see my pain management doc, time for another p test so I can get my monthly refills.. such a pita, just another co-pay.. :nah: Anywho, I saw a couple things in the city that made me think of you guys, first was the hookers have now moved into the area near the hospital, what came to mind? Lot Lizards, we talked about them before LoL. Second was on the way home I went by a big park and saw some big kites in the sky which got me thinking about Mike's kites.

The sun is shining, the Robin's are back and it's getting close to actual spring weather, so nice to see and after a long winter and some stressful days the last month. But things have calmed down, the dark days behind us now and we look forward to better days ahead, like my wife says, "It's time to get back with the living."

Lot's of missed pages here, I'm not even going to try to catch up, I'll just roll in from here so if I go "huh?" during the next week it's because I probably missed some recent posts/topics. Good to be back, hope everyone is and has been well! :)

The only thing is, Willie, you have to learn to speak BB/SXK to make sense out of a lot of this stuff

    Still? :D

    Just say "BB".......

First thing that comes to mind is "You'll shoot your eye out kid" I'm still stuck on dna 75's & 200's, mizer's and Merlin's...

Good to see ya Willie, and I hope you didn't think of me.Just like we moved from cigarettes to e-cigs, close to my neck of the woods we've gone from hookers to e-hookers. Toronto's first sex doll brothel has been open for a year

 I guess technology's spreads to all corners sooner or later....

I got to the first block near the hospital for my dr. appointment when I saw this young gal (18-20) on the sidewalk in shorts and a halter top waving and waving at me, mind you it was only in the mid 50's today. I thought, 1."She's gotta be cold, she's not very smart." and 2."She must know someone who owns a Jeep like this and is mistaking me for someone else."

Once I was done with my appointment I left the parking lot, got to the first Stop sign and saw a guy doing a 180 rubber neck while honking his horn and still driving 30 MPH, if anyone had been in front of him he would have rear ended them. Then I saw what he was honking at, another (this one "top heavy") gal in, yup, short-shorts and a halter top and another one down the road on the corner, then it clicked... Lot Lizard's are here too. Well, at least they don't have far to go to get to the clinic....

I actually found a fix for my sxk boxxer rda leakage. It can only be done on the 2nd batch, the one that has a thin oring around the deck... All i did was buy an oring kit from fastech and used orings a lil bigger than driptip orings to stop the leakage. I swaped out the one in the deck and replaced it with a thicker one. Then a used a smaller one to latch around the remaining edge of the deck.. The process takes patience and steady hands but it works. The cap will have a smallll gap from sitting on the orings but onece you place it in the mod and crank down the negative drip tip adaptor it will seal the tank completely.... With the right amount of cotton you can stop the leakage to about 98%...I used my mod for days, left it in my jacket pocket and my back pack. Good luck!!!
