This is after all night on the charger, you can see cell 1 & 2 are lower than 3 & 4
Did I mention it's a brand new battery? It's been sitting here for a while but never used.
When I put it on the other 250c After a long time! all the cells came up to 4.2 volts :)

So now that it's balanced does it seem to charge at usual time?

No :( Thats what I was hoping for, after the cells all charged up I was hopeful?
But it didn't work, same as before cell 1 & 2 lower than 3 & 4 & still taking way too long to charge :( Seeing it does the same on multiple boards it has to be the battery?

I never paid much attention to DNA75/75C mods. As I rather pay a little bit more and get a DNA200/250/250C instead. That is until lately. And I guess not a moment to soon, since many of them are getting harder and harder to find.

Well I picked up two hcigar VT75D. Boy are these things tiny for a dual 18650 mod. It feels a lot like a mini Triade. I am really liking them. And the supply of them are drying up. So if you are interested, don't wait too much longer. I almost missed out.

Next was two Mirages. I always picked on them for being too cheap plastic looking. And I had no idea that I would ever own one (let alone two) someday. But I was currently looking for a single or dual 21700 dna mod and the Mirage seems like about it. And boy are they hard to find nowadays. But I managed to find two and they might be the last ones out there. I still don't like the cheap plastic look, but they are performing very well. ;)

Hey Steamer, another thought. You said you tried that battery in another 250C with the same results. How about trying the battery from that 250C in the one that had the leak, just to be sure?

Never really thought about that, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it :)
All thou I'm confident the 250c in the slow charge mod is fine :)
Here's another thing, before the leak that ruined the battery, I had the same kind of battery in that mod, it to was a bit slow to charge! Not as bad as it is with the replacement battery but noticeably slower than other lipo mods, this also leads me to believe that it's the battery at fault for some reason or other.

I'm just going to cast it aside for now & revisit it at a later date.

Is the Mirage the only DNA75C with a 100W boost with TC?
All with INT firmware have it, not sure about US firmware but doubt it.
Keep in mind a high amp cell will be required. 75 watts is quite a strain on most 18650's.

I'm betting on a wiring issue? I'v opened my SXK clones & the wiring isn't as nicely done as an Authentic! The DNA60 has a lot of wires & they're pretty close together, wouldn't be too hard to screw something up on it.

Broke it down today. Visual inspection was OK, soldering looks clean, no crimped wires, nothing evident on the board.

4.2V is fine from the battery to the board, and to the fire button. Fire button tested OK too.

Still no life in it though, I'll have to desolder it all next.......

Hi Dear mikepetro, I was searching today for the boiling points of PG/VG mixtures. I found the %w/w - T chart on a post of yours. I was amazed to find this kind of information on a non official scientific paper. Then I saw your apparatus and vape experiments you do, and I am blown away.... many papers I read on e-cigs have done less experiment variety of work than you do.
Anyway, I am A chemist, working on e-liquid production, and I have started a you tube Chanel about vaping doing some since behind vaping.
Can I use the PG/VG graph boiling/dew point in my next video. Or even mention about your blog? I will leave a link on the description.
You can see our first video on our you tube Chanel. search for the chemist et al. on you tube.

Hope to speak again soon
