Wish I could use multiple emoji's. I woulda used a smile, a heart, and a winner.
I notice SP35 is missing, there's my now greyed out Feb 2016, and ooh, lookie loo, methinks there's a straight 75 problem. But those are easy enough to fix.

You just HAD to start talking about your craptop crapping out, didn't you! Mine seems to have a failing hard drive now. See what you did!!!!!

So my desktop still suffers from one deadish Pcie slot and 3 out of 6 memory slots are dead. Nice and clean now and working good despite the above.
What kind of mojo did you put out here dwcraig1? This machine has been running flawlessly for the past 12 years, now has 2 beeps then continuously repeats. Seems to act up when the CPU is running at higher temps. Yeah probably a disassembly and a good cleaning will fix things. But why today when you're throwing out your mojo?

I've had a couple minor juice leaks from my probably too short tailed Insider in my Yellow BB. I decided to pull the cover off for the buttons/screen to see if any got in there. Well a little bit did, just enough to get some on the red gasket. So I moved on to the red one with the Kanger RBA, nothing wet there.
I rewicked the Insider with just a fuzz of tail dropping into the juice channels, still pretty minimul.

Check the o ring fitment between the Key & the chimney. Before you install the boro slide the key in the chimney & see if the tolerance is tight. A lot of leaking comes from this connection :(

That is so weird sounding compared to using JMK Tips. As all they are is a dip tip with the key built in and flat on the bottom. There is no o-ring, it doesn't fit inside of the chimney, but only metal to metal contact and that is it. No leaks, no condensation build up or anything.

But with the BB key design. You have juice pooling up on top of the BB key. Now you need an o-ring on the key (but not on the JMK Tips) or you will have leaks.

I was using JMK Tips until the other day when I just had enough. JMK Tips uses a 5mm bore which is just too narrow. And speaking about short, they are only 10mm tall. For me, it is just a little stubby thing and just too short and narrow for me to put up with. So now I went back to the BB key and Crown drip tips which are just perfect for me (9mm bore and 19mm tall).

No, not at all...as long as you buy me one, too!

Seriously, if you're into gaming the 1050-ti is nice, but it is a power hog when compared to on-board Intel graphics. I have a 1060 in my desktop and it draws about 100 watts under load to give you an idea. If you're not into gaming it will idle along at 10 to 20 watts under normal circumstances, though.

I am not up on the latest things, but this one has both. And when you don't need the 1050-ti, it can use on-board Intel graphics. Sound about right to you?

Well, using the Intel graphics leaves the 1050 sitting there, doing nothing, drawing power. Like I said, at idle I'd expect to see it use 10 watts or so, given it's a mobile version. That will effect battery life. Either way it's a nice laptop though.

So, after a little more than 24hrs with the older F/W (33 March 2018) The battery drain is a little less than with current F/W 38 :) It does still drain, but where I would have lost 5 to 6 % I'm only loosing 3% :) I down graded 2 mods a Lipo & a dual 18650 both about the same results. Just for Fun I included a 75c & it only lost 1% over 24hrs @ current F/W:)

I could see why Bill would have said no drain, if His mods are @ OG firmware from 03/2018 the drain would be less noticeable :)

New atty today :) In Squape fashion it has intense flavour :) It's says DL but it's a restricted DL, still a bit more open than the X Dream but not much. If you like Squape's? You'l like this one too :) The Top Fill is way more convent & the JFC is easier to operate also :)

This is why I have a lot of machines. When I want low power consumption, I use the HDMI and plug in my Dell ST which uses 7 watts running Windows 7. But my Windows 8 one uses 8 watts. And what kind of gamer do you think I am? As I am using 12 year old computers. Even my Alienware machines are 12 years old and runs two video cards per machine. I can bake cookies from the exhaust of those.

Bill, I modified the case of my desktop and installed a four inch duct fitting. That goes to a 200CFM inline blower that is vented out the window. I'm running three video cards that are "folding" 24/7. That blower dropped all of them by about 20C and lowered the room temperature as well. I will admit to venting it inside during thewinter to recover the heat.
