Brought the Billet Box out with me this morning for coffee on the deck and it was dead. It had been sitting unused for a quite a while, so I popped the battery in the D2 and it showed 0.8V... Well that battery is garbage, it was an old HG2 and it might have been low when I put the BB away last time.

There was a nice TRVP wrap on that cell too, good thing I have lots of them. ;)

So the BB is OK? It was just a dead battery?

I had some dna issues this week :( I had a Silo 950 with a Really dim screen, I mean to the point it could hardly be seen! So I pulled it a part & couldn't get the screen to work no matter what I tried :( I decide well I have a spare new 250, let's try it, the darn thing was DOA!
Wiped out all my spare 250's :( I put a DNA75 in it with an 18650 sled & it's working well now :) I'm going to need a few more 250's as spares & I'm also down to my last spare colour screen :(

On a more positive note, I replaced the lipo's in my "Work mods" I went from a 4s 1500mAH to a 4s 1300mAH & there working great, & fit way better! Even better battery life than the old 1500's, witch were thoroughly used & puffed out Big Time! I got about a year & a half out of them, Not bad I guess?

I haven't put a new cell in it yet, I'll do that later as the honey do list is a long one today.

You could drop a fresh charged cell in there and then check it like within 12 hours. I wouldn't check it later than that, since the battery level might drop down to 3.0v or less.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Not vape related, but might save someone some problems.

I have a security camera in an open shed about 100 feet from the house. I had been connecting with a piece of CAT5E in an overhead run but wanted to get rid of that. The power is fed underground with UF cable. So I bought an "inexpensive" WiFi "bridge" made by Vonets to replace that cable.

They configured easily and were running fine for a few months, then I noticed that throughput, which runs around 400Mb/ps normally, started dropping down. Last week I couldn't access the camera at all. Turned out to be the half of the bridge that is in the house. So they turned out not to be so "inexpensive" after all.

I ordered a set of Ubiquiti Loco M5 nano stations and set them up very easily. So far, after four days anyway, they're running very well. According to the monitor program they'll easily handle at least six cameras while the Vonets would have been fully loaded with two. Quite a difference. They are also capable of running much longer distances, as in a few kilometers. So if you need to link a remote building to your network they'd be a good choice. There is also a higher powered version that will go about 15 kilometers at full throughput. I run them in "transparent" bridge mode, but they can also serve as a standard WiFi access point.

Late last week the fam decided we needed a shopping trip to America (how my kids refer to USA :)).

So I'm checking out Hana Modz guy before noon yesterday, was gonna ask you guys some questions. Checked back after dinner, and there they are ....... gone. Ended. No more listing. Hopefully he'll restock before long. I was gonna go with a raw, a gunmetal, and a purple or red. Any comments on finish?

Now it'll be a mad rush to get orders placed to hit Morgantown WV by October 11. Stock up on Nic, batteries, quality o-rings, fertilizer.
Our typical route. Buffalo - Erie (shopping and last Timmies) - Newell WV (home of Fiesta ware, and with her stock, she can't complain about my mods) - Morgantown.

It's funny that at the border crossing because I was born in Jamaica, they question me on food products, not guns or weed or bombs, but food. My aunt has already placed her order for salted beef, salted cod, salted pigs tails, etc. The SUV will go down and return full.
Talking about that, TrollDragon my wifey was just down home for 2 weeks around South mountain and while shopping in Kentville at the Sobey's said it was stocked with Jamaican food stuffs. She figures it's due to all the farm workers in the area. ;) If you wanna know how to cook anything just ask.

    Wah gwan, mi bredren.

There is a large migrant community that come in to pick crops, kind of like the Holland Landing in Ontario. I really do miss the culture of Toronto, not a roti or jerk cart to be found down here... :(

And I don't think the locals have even seen what a Ruben sandwich is actually supposed to look like.

But if your lookin for da clams and chips or the smoked mackrel, then yes b'ys, we gots that in spades! :D

I certainly never would have bought it under normal circumstances. I like the tank except it's a bit colorful.
How are you making out with the tank? Since they look so much like the FreeMax Mesh Pro, my second one has been sitting since April. My first one I use pretty much everyday. That triple mesh coil has had 152ml through it so far and I think it's finally done. Although the recommended wattage is 80 to 110W, I run them at 40W on DNA and 45W on non-DNA. I also close the airflow down to a square.

The second one has been sitting since April because it lost connection after 24ml. Well seeing yours I had taken it apart and I think the coil wasn't screwed in tight enough and it has been working fine since. I am so glad that TrollDragon (back in December) had mentioned about these FreeMax Mesh Pro, as they become my favorite tanks. I see that eightvape has them now at $18.88 each. I guess I better get 2 or 3 more. This time in metal. ;)

A couple weeks ago I sent that zbbmod's Hana guy a message through ebay asking if he had anything left, any parts, pieces, dings, mismatched, what every, I'd be interested, never got a reply so I think he finally ran the well dry. It sure was a good run, made some nice mods on the cheap.

I was born in Kingston, left at an early age, but returned for my summers as a teen. I understand patois easily, but only sound like a Jamaican when I'm around others. I think Shaggy's like that. Then 10 minutes after leaving, poof, accent gone. We use Pork .... or shoulder to Jerk, whatever's on sale at our local Chinese grocer for 79 cents a pound. (2 of us prefer shoulder, the other 2 ... the ....)

Her family was quite surprised how much we had in common, right down to Solomon Gundy. It's all due to the Tradewinds, Rum for Cod and Mackrel. You might not know that many in Preston NS were beligerent slaves from JA ;)

The tank is fine, way too much though for my style of vaping. It's working good with the RBA.
It's the mod that concerns me, in wattage mode settings seem "real" but in TC it seems that the temp that is set is the temp it's going to go for. As if the temp is the power setting.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass for the moment. I'll build my Cloudmaker boxes with 2@21700 batteries, one with a 75C and the other a regular 250 I think.

Ugly looking thing. Looks like someone stamped it out in sheet metal shop or leftover parts from an erector set. But what interests me is...

    FreeMax Fireluke RTA 03.jpg

It also comes with a Velocity style deck that is suppose to fit the FreeMax Mesh Pro too. I think I am going in. :D

I did a little test on the Ijoy set at 10 watts - 430F and then 100 watts - 430F I noticed no difference.
So I'm assuming that if it kicked out of TC it would go to set wattage but for some reason I'm doubtful about that.
Edit: never mind about that last part, I screwed on a Kanthal coil and with the same settings and it is was full tilt.
