What's weird is that Trump was in support of vaping back in 2017. Now in 2019 he has sold us out. Somebody got to him. He warns against fake news and now he is falling for it.

Can't and won't argue with you there, someone's giving him bad info and he's acting on it, I just hope someone wiser gets to him first and set's him straight.

Willie, the first thing that came to mind was "if one drop is good, a tablespoon is better". That could have easily been the problem. Not saying it was with no evidence, but should certainly be considered. Along with that is the quality, and suitability, of the product for human consumption, even in drop sized portions.

Could be, didn't think about that. Or it could have been she was just someone who reacted badly to something and who know, it could have been from something else she came in contact with around the same time.

I told my wife, we never know what will make us ill, a friend of ours some years ago got bit by a recluse spider while getting a shovel from his shed, it ended up being the straw that broke the camels back and it took him. He had other health problems to, those alone may have eventually, over years took him but the spider bite, once that got in him and spread it was too much for his weaken system. Last time I saw him he said to me, "I've been able to overcome so much in my life and a damn tiny spider has killed me".

Everything is fake news until proven. Discussing conspiracy theories is about as useful as trying to unveil why stupid people do stupid things. #anti social media.

Discussing yes, but if you dig for proof and it's found, well it's not longer a theory.
ETA: What happen to reporters having actual proof, truth and facts before reporting a story? Reporting what was found without their personal comment, then letting the listener decide.

medical condition this lady had and let you know, "Steven's" something, I didn't want to ask again
Just a quick search is sounds like Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a rare, serious disorder of your skin and mucous membranes. It's usually a reaction to a medication or an infection. Often, it begins with flu-like symptoms, followed by a painful red or purplish rash that spreads and blisters.
It could happen with anything, Food, Medication, etc. It is still sad and I hope your wife can get past the loss of her coworker. Who could have known.

Reporting only facts went away when the courts stopped awarding cases to plaintiffs who sue for defamation of charactor. Many years ago.

These days the news can just post your face all over the tv before you even have a court appearance, all based on pure speculation.....if you're even alleged to have done something illegal your career can be ruined.

Ugly looking thing. Looks like someone stamped it out in sheet metal shop or leftover parts from an erector set. But what interests me is...

View attachment 838447

It also comes with a Velocity style deck that is suppose to fit the FreeMax Mesh Pro too. I think I am going in. :D
YES! The FireLuke rebuildable deck and coils are completely interchangeable with the Mesh Pro. You can even put a Mesh Pro coil in a FireLuke and it vapes exactly the same as a Mesh Pro. The thing about the FireLuke is they have been out of production for a year now. Worse is some FireLuke's came with a rebuildable and some didn't. And supplies are starting to dry up. And they are the best dang tanks I own! ;)

And Trump got it wrong! vaping IS wonderful! ;)

Well we have our first Canadian hospitalized from vaping in London, Ont. a high school kid.

"At the press conference, officials released little information about the case, including keeping the patient’s gender hidden. The individual was using an e-cigarette “at least daily,” Mackie said. While health officials are aware of the brand of vape being used and whether or not the person was vaping a nicotine or cannabis product, they did not wish to disclose it publicly." :glare:

Obviously a minor and tight lipped as to what it was they were using. I assume it was either that Dank THC stuff or they were puffing on the 50mg juice too hard.

"Bet you I can smoke this cigarette faster than you can vape that JUUL dry... Oh yeah watch this." :w00t:

That's what it was, yeah she was covered with blisters. The doctors are the one's who blamed the CBC oil but like you say, who knows for sure. I have no idea if she gave them the rest of the bottle and they tested it, all unknown to me.

Mike you are spot on when you say we each have to own what we do, your story of starting smoking was same as mine. At the age of 16 I only did it because I thought it was "cool" and we got cigs cheap from vending machines, no one to tell us we couldn't buy them. But back then, at 16 you could belly up to the bar and buy drinks, and I did. Both the drinking and smoking turned out bad for me later in life, it was and is all on me.

really a shame though - it's very treatable with over 90% of patients recovering :( hope your wife won't take it too hard because it could have been something else - really no way of knowing.

Well, I'm back at it with another car in my shop... Just when I thought it was all over for this year, my daughter's live in boy friend suddenly up and moved out last week, come to find out he's been cheating on her. Day before yesterday my daughter's car starting making brake noises so I brought it over to check it out, needs everything for the brakes front an rear, pads, rotors, calipers, flush the fluid. While working on it I found a ton of other stuff it needs, I'll just go ahead and get it all done now before winter then hopefully neither her or I will have to worry about it for the winter.

Fortunately my daughter and grand kids live right next door, which is great but now I'll have to take care of everything there, once again. Spent half of yesterday mowing both our lawns and still have the push mowing and weed whacking to do. My back is sore tonight...

Yeah, I gave her a hug and told her that tonight, she's still upset but better. I can't help but wonder, if like my buddy who had other underlying problems before the spider bite, if something like that wasn't going on with this lady. I didn't want to ask, don't want to make her more upset, sometimes a hug and a few words of encouragement is better then a lot of rehashing stuff.

I just skimmed the article, but they at least said they aren't sure vaping was the cause!

And if you don't believe it, just ask them. They may, if you are lucky, proudly show you their participation trophy.

Your results may vary! I can only speak of my children, & at 18 & 21 they are smarter than I am! Both of them  They grew up with all the facts right in their hands, Dam cell phones :)

There in lies the problem, if it's on the interwebz it has to be true not to mention what the actual source of those facts may be from.

One thing that seems to be universal for the young, they never (myself included at that age) seem to grasp that at one point their parents went through the same trials and tribulations the kids are going through. So when we give advice it's because we are trying to save them the pain of what we went through and the mistakes we made, but they just reject any advice, think they know better and we are just old fogies who don't understand what it's like. OK, figure it out then, good luck!

Well Bill lets go with the facts! My oldest got the largest scholarship our local university hands out! To maintain it he needs over a 90% average ! Going into 3rd year now & their still paying! Ended last year, second year with a 94%!
I didn't buy him that fancy car for nothing! He earned it!
The youngest one ended High school with an 89% average, He got a one thousand $ a semester discount on his tuition :) I just scraped by with C's & D's :(

You just need to know were to look! I'm not saying all the info on the net is true, but some/ a lot IS! They research all their school work on the Net! I'm sure they don't get good marks for fake info's :)

Not so much because of the "scare" but I ordered some more nic VG and some PG. It was nearing time anyway. But I bought from Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers this time due to MFS wanting $85 for a liter of 100 mg. Paid $59.29 shipped for a liter of each from LNW

What's a cartoon of cigs with taxes going for now? Think about that and it takes the sting out of it. ;)
