You guys are shaming me to finally finish the DNA60 low tank I started way back when. It's been sitting on my bench, enclosure cut to length, tank cut out made, back wall for the tank cutout made, shelf for the 510 made, just waiting for me to "get 'er done".
I did build another 75C yesterday, the mod from hell. The first thing that went wrong was that I swapped the negative and positive contacts on the battery sled and that makes a BIG difference. Then, I went to do a test assembly and found out there was no fire button for the mod, an AlpineTec GL2. So, I ended up using my vertical lathe, AKA drill press, to spin down a piece of 1/2" aluminum rod stock. It took some slow, careful, filing to get the length inside, and outside, just right but it looks OK and works perfectly.

I was actually looking at ordering the shorter Merlin MTL $24.36 Authentic Augvape Merlin MTL RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3ml / 304 stainless steel + glass / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping and during my search I stumbled across this kit by pure chance.

While it's replacement parts for the Merlin Mini, feedback say's this also works to make the Merlin RTA's shorter, I checked the glass diameter and it's the same for the RTA and the Mini so it's looking promising.

Based on my experience with the Aegis, if they upgrade the firmware the new file will recognize the device and install itself very easily.

Reminds me of when I worked as a mechanic in a Nissan dealership, the repair manuals were translated. Many times I'd be scratching my head trying to figure out what it was they were trying to describe, sometimes it was down right funny.

I put an Orion Plus with some coils & an extra pod in my cart! It looked like a pretty good deal, but just couldn't pull the trigger
Early this morning I ran my Skyline completely dry, TP saved me, a bit of vapor was swirling around inside the glass tank after I took the last drag. It looked cool.
Later in the day I ran my Xeta completely dry, no problem getting all the juice from the tank even though the juice ports are pretty high. Again TP saved me.

Temp control is the best! I often forget to turn the juice flow on, an anemic hit is way better than a burnt wick any day I really don't know why everyone isn't using it!
