Sitting down, facing forward.
I don't have a welder, so if I end up making something it'll either be one piece angel stock cut to make a runner or riveted/bolted together. Maybe it's time to look on Amazon.

The rain turned to snow here at around 9AM but it stopped, now, and we probably won't see much more than an inch by morning, if that much.

I bought a washing machine today. Maytag 5.3 cu ft. Salesman at Lowes almost scared me out of it. I like my old dumb washing machine i have now. I can pack the sh#t out of it and overfill it with a garden hose i have attached to the laundry tub faucet. Salesman said "oh no, you can't do that with this one. The sensors won't like it. These new appliances are "smarter" "more efficient". Why is the Govt telling me how much water i can use to wash my clothes with or flush my turds down the toilet with?

About 4 am I was returning to my "office" in the garage from having coffee in the park and seen two cars come out of garage. I'm quite happy really that I wasn't in there. I missed it by 2 minutes.
The guy must be really stupid if he thinks he's going to use that method to open the door.

He's obviously watched a lot of movies showing how to slip a door lock with a credit card or knife. Problem is, he needs to watch reality, not fantasy. Luckily, he's not smart enough to do that.

My concern would be he or his buddies will return to try again and it may be in the middle of the night when they think darkness and most people are sleeping will allow them more time to get in. I'd put a sign on the inside of the door, "Welcome back! Smile for the live streaming motion activated camera! You might as well have a seat, the police are already on the way. Or you can run and they come to your home."

Do you carry?

It was 4 am and I carry a cell phone and flashlight.
We have 7 cameras in that area (with signs). Two while not true licence readers are for getting the plate numbers, which I did. The police viewed the video and will pick up a copy tonight after I pull it off. What I posted here I did from home as I can access it remotely.
These guys just might be dumb enough to come again.

I missed that you posted it was 4am, the lighting in the video made me think it was daytime. Well I hope they can ID them and pull them in, keep your head on a swivel and be careful! Given any thought to keeping a German Shepard in the office?

When I was a teenager there was a guy who had a scrap yard/repair shop, think of an old run down red neck scrap yard, just like that. He kept a big German Shepard there 24/7, hooked on a long heavy duty chain during the day and free run of the lot at night. That dogs toy was a freaking bowling ball, I swear to God that's no lie. I stayed well clear of that dog, he scared the hell out of me.

Hey Willie, how'd you do with snow? We got nothing down here in semi-tropical southern NJ.

We ended up with about 5-6 inches, well below what we expected. After I posted I had cleaned out the driveway, it hardly snowed the rest of the day, dumped another inch and that was it, we got lucky compared to some places. Went by Greek Peak again this afternoon, the parking lot was packed, lots of skier's out on the slopes.

Dan, I clicked the "optimistic" rainbow option for your feedback emoji (or whatever it's called). I hope ,one day, this blossoming robber can successfully pick a lock. We need to have more positive reinforcement in today's society. "i....can be anything! Take a look it's in a book"..........
