Putting the CA orion's to use... A snowy day and a slow shift at the shop needs a little diversion with MK11 on the Switch. Would be great if they ported Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne over... I need more DS game time. :D

Also steam crave needs to release a small single coil RSA like the B2K.

LOL, seeing your photo made me laugh. I just ordered new joystick components to put in our Switch Joy-Cons. The left one had a constant drift to the left. It has been infuriating while trying to get through Skyrim.

The drift is a serious issue, mine don't have any, YET... I didn't pick up Skyrim as I spent over 200 hours on it with the PC version back in the day. ;)

What really grinds my gears is the D Pad on the Nintendo Pro Controller. $80 for a controller with a PoS D Pad that registers a single direction press as multi direction unless you are very precise with the press.

Saw a video where a guy puts 4 layers of tape under the pivot point on the D Pad which fixed his, I need to tear mine down and see if it works. The move precision and timing for MK11 makes it almost unplayable.

Where did you get the joystick parts for future reference?

The description in the listing has a pictorial, looks about the same as replacing a screen on a DNA Mod.

$11 is better than $70 for a new set of Joy-Cons.

Although, there is a class action lawsuit about the issue, and Nintendo is fixing them now.

Me, I will just do it myself.......

VA - Stop a Flavor Ban! (SB 966)

"I used vaping to stop a lifelong tobacco habit. Frankly, tobacco flavored vapes did not work for me as they just made me reminisce and salivate for the real thing. Peach flavor however has been successful and I have not smoked for 7 years, after smoking for 35 years. Please dont allow the only solution I have ever found to be taken away from me!!!"

or some such similar...

I think most people experience the left controller going out first. I suspect that is because the duty cycle is a lot higher on the left. That is the one used for walking etc, and it gets a lot more use, sometimes hard use when you are running from something.

I am only replacing the left one, will keep the other as a spare.

don't give up yet - spacex starlink aims to go live sometime in 2020 ;)

Elon Musk says a device resembling a 'UFO on a stick' will connect people to SpaceX's new Starlink satellite internet service

Sitting down, facing forward.
It is a good idea, but I wonder if more than just the necessary technology was thought through. Just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should be done. The unanticipated results could be far more expensive than the gains.
