I copied this from Protovapor's Facebook page:

The PACT Act means the end of the line for Protovapor. As with many small mail-order companies, not being able to ship directly to customers, and in our case especially via USPS, ends our main business. When we are out of stock on the current vaping-specific items such as mods, boards, and certain accessories, we will not restock. When we have fully liquidated, we will go dormant indefinitely.
We have a good deal of dead stock and parts for product lines that have been discontinued, such as the original XPV 20 to 40 lines, the XPV 200/200 XC, the XPV 75/250, etc. Much of this will be going in the trash; if you are interested in any of it for whatever reason, let us know. We'll listen to offers on live stock as well.
It has been quite a ride since 2013 when vaping was new and full of promise. We cannot thank you enough for your support through the years.
In 2021 things seem bleak, but who knows. The science is there, hopefully one day it will catch up and so-called Public Health will realize the terrible mistake they have made.
I've been in communication with Protovapor about some XPV enclosure parts.

The conclusion......

"If you pay $50+shipping I'll include as much as I can fit in a flat rate package."

Wow $50 just for shipping! Those are 75C enclosures with an 18650 Tube?
TBH, I would just go for the LV Grus, you can get them for sub $30 on sale out of China, with inexpensive shipping!
I have 2 of them converted to 75c's & it couldn't be easier! Plus they are 21700!

I bought a lot of stuff from Proto over the years they were all ways good to Me, Really sad to see them Go :(

You could easily fit four or more in a small flat rate package. And if these are the kit version, that would be one heck of a deal. ;)

Yes! it would be a good deal. My issue is the 18650, & the size of the 510.
If you all ready have the 75c? The Grus is a heck of a deal for just an enclosure, it has a Big 510 up to a 30mm atty 21700 battery + it's a pretty good quality enclosure! The buttons have the silicon pad under them for a real nice click, the screen is protected by a plastic cover, & the screw battery cap, all thou not the easiest to remove & install, it will last for a long time :)
Not even mentioning how stylish it is :)

OK, some clarification.....

I was talking about the XPV20D enclosure. This was my first ever DNA mod and I used it for years before the up/down switch broke. My initial enquiry was to replace the switch, but then I got to thinking I still have a bunch of small screen 60s looking for a home.

I asked what 5 more complete kits would cost, everything except the board and battery. That's when I got the reply above.

The charge was $50 plus shipping, $90 to Australia. I really liked the square tube look, and wanted to re-live my first DNA.

If your looking for enclosures there may well be a deal to be had, my impression was that they had a fair bit of stuff to liquidate....

Evolv ending direct sales due to PACT Act

Hello from Evolv,

Due to the PACT Act and related government actions, Evolv will be ceasing all direct-to-consumer sales on March 26, and closing the e-commerce portion of our website. We’ve never sent out a mailer before, but as someone who has purchased directly from us in the past, it’s important we keep you in the loop.

First, the good:

We’re running a huge sale until March 26!

Click here to view our March Sale

Next, the not-as-great:

After March 26, we will only sell DNA boards in quantity to business customers and we will only sell Reflex, other devices, and pods through distributors and local vape shops. If your local vape shop doesn’t carry what you want, ask them to start. If you don’t have a local vape shop, find one. Vape shops are the only way any of us will survive.

Also not ideal:

The electronics supply chain is a mess due to the pandemic. Enough of a mess that even the car companies are halting production for weeks at a time. Unfortunately, as a US manufacturer of high-quality electronics, we use a lot of the same part suppliers. If an item in your order is not in stock, we promise you’ll get your package eventually, but promising exact delivery dates is difficult. The best I can say is it’ll be better than Kickstarter but worse than Amazon.

The takeaway:

We’re not going away. The vast majority of our sales is business-to-business, and that will continue. We feel we have a strong PMTA application submitted for Reflex, with additional studies and trials ongoing. For example, Reflex finally received its UL listing demonstrating device safety. We also have new products in the pipeline and are happy to continue to help any of our DNA customers with PMTA where we can.

I wish we didn’t have to stop selling direct. While it isn’t a lot of our sales, Evolv was started by a hobbyist modder - me - and we care deeply about this segment of the community. However, we don’t see a way around the twin attacks of “ship anything and go to jail” and “$80 in paperwork and compliance costs for every $20 order”. We hope you understand, and we’ll all keep fighting the fight together.

Thanks for being our customer!

Well the stick on my Switch right Joy-Con has started drifting making it impossible to play Immortals Fenyx Rising, thankfully I have a Pro controller as well. This was ordered, we'll see how well it does the job.

In other news, there is talk of the CC companies pulling vape shop merchant accounts here in Nova Scotia. I guess pop, milk, chips and cigarettes will be the inventory here... Sad times indeed, days are numbered.

Amazons Great! were would have we got stuff like this in 2 days with Free shipping before?

I thought every thing was OK with vaping in Canada? I don't see any thing changing in Ontario. All the shops I use still take PP & CC payments :)

I heard that the Canadian government is considering banning flavours in all vaping products. But unlike Americans, your voices are heard. Only Canadians should voice your opinion and only once. Or it will only hurt the cause.

That was a long time ago! Here just like the states, the provinces work independently on some issues. So if Nova Scotia is planing a Visa Payment Ban on Vaping goods, Don't mean Ontario will to.
I'm fairly certain, here in Ontario, any way, vaping is considered "Harm Reduction" & should be safe from the influence of BT!

TBH, I'm not sure if the province share in BT Profits, like the states do? But I am certain the provinces are interested in keeping Health Care costs low!
