I'm curious how my PT2 might perform at a higher setting.
It all depends on the ohms you have and the voltage/ wattage you set it at. With a set 3.7 volt PV there's only one way to adjust and that's via the ohms of the clearo. With VV/ VW YOU are in control- some juices taste much better at diff voltages. That's why generally with the Twist, Spinner or Winder best ohms is 2.4 as it gives the widest range of adjustment- 1.8 ohms only up to 4? volts and 2.8 ohms out of the voltage range.

Maybe the best non-rebuildable(is there a good term for that?) dripper in the $10-25 range?
Well, the whole point of rebuildables is that you build them yourself, as far as I understand it. I don't know of any with pre-made coils, but who knows? You may ask in the rba subforum--they will know.
I think he just meant regular old dripping atomizers (for this). He's looking for a good one. Where's Ocelot? :)

Maybe the best non-rebuildable(is there a good term for that?) dripper in the $10-25 range? I know about the RBA's, and there are disposible ones, if I remember there are ones where you can just replace a coil-head type deal- or am I confused? Would be nice to have something I could re-use without wrapping my own coils. I could spend more on a unit a while down the road-I just don't know if I could afford it for a while, my two planned in-tandem orders are gonna cost me!!!
So I'm hearing about cartomizers here, I'm more drawn to the carto-tanks and I'd assume that they could work just as well- or nearly as well???
From best quality to lowest quality:
Atomizers - Avid Vaper
306 atomizer- need a 306 drip tip
510 atomizer
Most of us get by using the 510 attys BUT the 306 attys have come down in price.

Just this week I went to a local vape store looking for these and the folks working there had no idea what I was talking about. Nice place with a great range of equipment, from eGos to high-end mechs & RBAs, but no idea what I was seeking on this front.

Used to be every Vendor had attys in stock for testing new juices but seeing less and less of them. Clearos were really a game changer IMO.

Edit: Also noticing many new vapers setting up shop.

Oh, I was under the impression that the 510's were favored and 306's were obselete(sp?...learning here :)
If I can do my order with iVape, I plan to throw in a couple of their's at...I wanna say $5.45 a piece. Should I add a LR one as well? I plan to grab a nice but cheap steel drip tip- around $3.50. Which brings up the question: do I need a drip shield? I'm already dropping a big wad of cash, so I might want to keep my orders as they are. On the other hand, since I'm dropping a lot of cash, a little more may not be a big deal. Neither 101Vape or iVape seem to have drip shields- if I can trust their search functions, that is, and I don't want to add another order right now...well, maybe an order from a good juice vender.
Another thing, somebody said i can use my iPod's AC to usb adapter for my (soon to be-I think) MVP2 and VV3's. Curious if this can be verified? Katya sent me a link for the genuine iTaste adapter, but, again I don't want to do more than 2 hardware orders right now. Yeah, I guess I'll look up the specs on that again and try to find a match. Is it a case of: if you have a lower than spec charger it may, worst case, not really work, but if it's higher power than spec it might do serious damage? In a nutshell: if I buy a generic Wall socket to usb adapter that claims to be perfect for charging ego's, would I be playing with fire by plugging an iTaste usb cord into it? I have been looking for the answers to some of these questions, but with some issues, it's hard to get much intel....

They're still around but because of all the new juice delivery systems coming out they are not as popular as they once were. Still a small group of drippers using attys BUT it's time consuming. Add to that some low cost bottom feeders and RBAs now available.

Should I add a LR one as well?
LR are generally used with 3.7 (your Kanger) PVs.
Here's a volts to ohms chart that will "generally" help. Some have had minor criticisms of it. Originator of chart said it was a general guide for new vapers so it's not a hard and fast "rulebook":

If you're a full time dripper then it does help but not really needed. They were also used when cartos were one of the few juice delivery systems- helped "pretty" it up/ cosmetically made a smoother transition from battery to carto and hid threading.

Yes I've occasionally used my IPhone wall adapter with my eGo style 3.7 volt PV. It's okay to use your iPod's wall adapter with the eGo or itaste.

Is it a case of: if you have a lower than spec charger it may, worst case, not really work, but if it's higher power than spec it might do serious damage?
Here's a User Manual:
http://www.meshweaver.com/temp/vaping/INNOKIN_ITASTE_MVP_USER_MANUAL.pdf
A faster charge than normal rated specs is never good. Lower spec charger is okay- it just takes a longer time.

An example:
eGo Wall Adapter:
output: DC 5V, 500mA
itaste Wall Adapter:
Output : 5.0V - 1 Amp

At this point I wouldn't worry about an extra wall adapter. Wait for a sale. Realize they say you can charge iPads, IPhone, etc off the MVP but be very careful as they'll suck the battery dry.

On the other hand, since I'm dropping a lot of cash, a little more may not be a big deal.
You should be set for quite awhile IMO. Realize also Christmas is right around the corner and the worst feeling is buying something and then seeing it a few weeks later @ 30- 50% discount. Look at the MVP2- originally selling for around $70...now can be had for $40.
When the ProTanks first came out they were $27- now can be bought for $10- $15.
One thing I've found is vaping is extremely faddish- what's popular one month is not the next. Same with Vendors- I've seen some posted to the extreme (regardless of the reasons= no judgement) whereby they've been backlogged for a month +.

Please remember that a wall adapter is not a charger. If the manufacturer recommends 1A output wall adapter for your USB charger, follow their directions.

I generally do not recommend mixing and matching chargers from different manufacturers unless they have the same specifications. Just to be safe.

Thank's for all the good info folk's! Guess I can wait a while on the adapter. Playing "the waiting game" for my funds to come in, now...

You're always very welcome and there more you ask the better prepared you'll be. I find far too many vapers buy on impulse without researching what they're buying. Because of the hrs I spent researching before my PV arrived it was like seeing an old friend...still didn't prevent me from burning out my very first 2 cartos cuz I improperly filled them
Have a GREAT night.

Progress report: T'was the first day I had enough funds available in my debit-card account and I just pulled the trigger on 2 VV V3's, another PT2 and a few 510 dripping attys from iVape. :)

However, 101Vapes ran out of the MVP2's and I'm waiting to hear back from them about availability, ETA, and if they'll still sell them for $40 (I REALLY hope so and soon). I'll do some research to find the second best price just in case, so far the best is $48.99 at c2cVaping, a dollar more at HealthCabin. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions of where else to check (also I'm too impatient to order from China). So far looked at Vaping me, MyVaporStore, Avid Vapor, Discount Vapers, MyFreedomSmokes, GotVapes, Vapor Beast, electronicstix, Mount Baker Vapor, Madvapes and Vapor Authority.... Not to mention some places that don't stock it....

edit- Just got an email back from them- sounds like it'll be restocked soon. whew(wipes sweat off brow). thank's for listening

today my VV V3's showed up, seem nice so far. Btw digging this new, long, bent steel drip tip from 101Vape for $3.49
Bent Top Drip Tip - 101 Vape
not perfectlymachined, but close and the length is rather cool...
May have to cool it on the hardware for a while, well... maybe I need a carto-tank...and another glass tank or two...
