The atties that come with the kit are reg. 510 atties. They're actually pretty good with the Riva... but... you go get yourself some LR510s for your Riva and I swear it will knock your socks off! Vapor Heaven! :)

thank you blue, I will get some LR510s , Now I just need to search e liquids for my taste. Can you recommend some liquids.
thanks again blue

Expected lifespan? I just got my Riva this morning and I'm counting down the hours on the first charge till I can use it for the first time. Absolutely can't wait - it makes my Indulgence look like some kind of dinosaur! What an awesome quality piece of work - in terms of build quality, well done Eastmall :toast:

. . . of course, the proof is in the vaping :)

I have all the stuff to mix my own but I've been waiting on some tobacco flavors. East Mall will be getting those eventually and then I'll take the plunge. My daily vape is "Marlboro". For a change of pace sometimes Green Apple, Peppermint or maybe White Chocolate Strawberry but in very small doses. I prefer tobacco flavor.

P.S. Di has some wicked recipes she'll post I'm sure if you ask nicely. ;p

I had to place another order straight away - forgot to add 510 drip tips . . . but I'm actually feeling a bit scared of dripping with the Riva & LR510's  I've been vaping for nearly 3 years, and I've never experienced anything quite like it - it's far better than my Indulgence in terms of vapor and flavour - I can almost not see my keyboard through the clouds! MUAHAHAHA!

Heya Chicka-dee!

If a battery won't take a charge from a known-good charger, or deliver power to a known good atomizer/cartomizer.... then I hereby christen it "dead".

Sure, there are a bunch of ways that a battery can die.. and a lot of failure mechanisms... (cell, MOSFET, button/switch, wiring, etc..), but at the end of the day, dead is dead.
Have a question I'm hoping you or someone on this thread might be able to answer - I have several Riva batts and always use a q-tip prior to charging - was cleaning one and noticed that the center contact had moved (I thought this was a solid post with a shallow moat around it)....anyway, it now looks like this is a disc that is secured after the positive lead is soldered to the underside - I repositioned this disc, screwed it into the charger and got no red light - then tried two working attys and nothing -the button still lights up - is my assumption correct that breaking the disc seal and probably breaking the positive lead attached to it is the reason my batt is dead AND is there a simple fix or is it trash time??

You might want to chek out Libertyflights.com if you haven't already - they only have ego passthroughs but they are selling full Riva kits for $30 with their continuous 20% discount (SE kits, 510 only, for $33) - hope this helps
my riva passthough is going on 5mo. as my sole device, now if i could just find another one and a supplier that has them for a good price.
