I don’t think I will vape in front of them, too much to explain.

I have no kids, so thus far it's not been an issue. I just do it in the corner. If spied I plan on saying that smoking is so addictive when you start young that as an adult one must pretend to smoke to stop smoking.

Among my friends who never smoked, the most common lesson taught that had the desired affect was, "I tried smoking, worst decision I ever made." Unfortunately the best reenforcement seems to be "try this" which results in the response "gag gag, people do this?!?!".

My biggest hurdle was explaining that while being better for mommy, it's still poison. I went stealth with a black ego (even though I wanted a fancy vl4) but anything shiny gets the attention of a 5 year old girl. I just hate that when she saw me smoking she never said oh yum I want one...but after getting a whiff of the good joose she claimed she'd like to have " a pretend cigarette" also....UGH.
Now I am more conscious bout vaping than I was smoking, until she's in bed - which of course isn't such a bad thing.
She did try selling my mom on the idea, telling her about apple pie and strawberry (funny I don't even have such flavors!) But I do see where the lure is, I've got a put up high goody box, get packages in mail and it smells good...I like UBA's ideas. :)
