Extending the life of your coil?

This may have been asked somewhere before, so forgive me if this is a repeat. I have a Kangertech emow, and a coil will last me about four days before needing replaced. If I rinsed it under hot water once a day, then give it a quick dry burn (for about three seconds to dry out the water), would that make it last longer? Obviously I would have to re-prime it each time. I know some of you advocate rebuilding coils, but those Kangertech coils are kind of small, and it would be rather tedious for me. Almost like doing micro surgery.

I know how to extend the life of a rebuildable coil and how to extend by rebuilding certain premade coils but other than that I'm not sure. I make and use my own coils solely and don't use premade coils so I'm not the best to answer this question. Other than rebuilding the coil. So BUMP this thread and hopefully someone more familiar with those coil types can help. Best wishes.

I use those coils. I just started using them about the time I joined, so since 1/23. I'm still using my original coils.

Every couple of days I soak the coil in isopropyl alcohol for a couple of hours before bed, rinse, dry overnight and I'm all set for the morning. Others use everclear or vodka, but I can't have that kind of stuff in my house.

I haven't ever dry burned.

When I finally get one go bad, I have a little box I plan to keep the spent ones in if I decide to rebuild. Yeah, they are small, but I know it can be done.
