extreme high voltage vaping!

my 8v/4.5ohm vaping experience was short-lived! - atty blew after a day - need to go over 5 ohms methinks (as Throat hit says)

actually atty didn't just blow - it shorted for some reason - I've got some soft plastic supporting the spring in my gg tb (it was compressing leaving a loose battery) and that immediately started burning - white smoke pouring out of the safety holes and me thinking what the f... until I realised what was happening!

I tried the 801 vhv today it sucks and I have to also. It feels like it wants to be running at 20 volts and just gives hot thin vapour. The subtle flavours taste better but it is hard work getting a good toke and you have to run it for ages. I am not getting it at all. Any ideas as to other good hv or vhv attys 4.5 to 6 ohm is about right..
