Personally, I think by taking these products off the market they'll end up with people taking even more tylenol (since they can no longer get stronger meds from doc) and having even more liver failure incidents.

We were just discussing this in the car. One, 1000mg pill does not work for some. So now, they will take 2, 650mg pills. It won't be long before they say, Oh... well now we have to drop the dosage down to 500mg. Then, Oh... people are still able to take 2 pills and get 1000mg, so we need to drop it down to 450mg.

The sad fact is that people are going to do what they can to make their pain go away and if they are confronted with having to go against directions or find alternatives because they can't afford to go to the doctor, which many can't and it is ridiculous that people would have to go to the doctor for something as common as a headache... they will do what they need to do.

Oh... the tangled web they weave.

It's called MONEY. As in the FDA goal reducing the nicotine in cigarettes to increase sales, reduction in pain reliever is just another way to increase sales.

That's just my take on it.

And if they could just figure out where the real money is *cough*marijuana*cough*... these silly little attempts they try to make could be focused on real health issues and real solutions to those very real problems.

BigJimw, is right, how dumb do they think the American people are that they believe this crap and some do. Give me a break. Cut the nictine and the pain doage and I need more cigarettes and more pain medication at double the price.

Makes me so mad I can't think straight.
