Not meaning to run this thread off topic, but the reason behind my avatar is;
My Great Uncle was King Of The Hobos.

Hobo: 1939 Yearbook

Thanks for sharing. Learned a little about Hobos and wish we still thought along the lines of their Constitution Article 2 Objects.."...to aid and protect.."

Thanks for all your aid regarding the 4081 - I love my npro.

I own a copper and I think i destroyed an atty on it today, but im pretty sure that that is my own fault. Ive ordered some 14500 batteries to use it at 3.7v rather than the 6v and compare. The SE attys that came with my first e cig purchases are still going strong over a month later. Ive lost 2 attys since i started vaping but im sure it was mostly operator error in both situations. Since im running the copper at 6v do you need to drop more juice on it, i havent mastered getting the right amount to get not only the huge vape clouds but the flavor as well. Ive pretty much perfected it with my regular batteries.

You have to experiment a bit. I use unflavored, and mix in my own flavoring. I run with heavy VG. My juice is thick, and seems to give the attys a little more protection. KEEP EM WET!!! As soon as they dry out, you take a chance of burning them up. At 6v, it's more important to keep them from drying out.

I ordered an EC08 as my first ever e-cig it arrived on thursday (yep an EC08!! wtf is that)
it turns out its a RN4081 according to the model number on the booklet that came with it.
the atomiser just died on it on its 4th day of use i dont think i did anything to hasten its demise :(
before it died i was loving it plenty of throat hit plenty of vapour and 4 days analogue free without even thinking about it.
was i just unlucky? are they usually reliable?
im giving it another go and had already ordered another atty that should be here tomorrow i was really relived to find it was a RN4081 at first but i dont know now was i unlucky? or is this a common problem.

and could someone please post a link to a compatible PCC

The PCC for the 510, which you can find at many, many suppliers listed and referred to in this forum, works with the 4081. The only thing is that the batteries vary just a tad in length sometimes (some of them are sold as 4081 and are really DSE103 batteries, etc.), so you might want to research it just a bit and maybe even measure your batteries and make sure before you get one. I have 3 or 4 different types of batteries for the 4081, and 1 type is significantly shorter. They might not work unless you use something to take up the extra space. The best length for using with the 510 PCC is the 4081 batteries that have horizontal stripes (going around them). The ones with the lengthwise stripes are maybe 1-2 mm too long but "might" work with a tight fit. The reason for this is that the 510 PCC charges by letting the lid press the batteries into the charger. Even though I know they will charge in there if they are the right length, I haven't really done it because I don't use the 4081 much any more. (I'm awfully glad it works, though.)

Just spent 20 minutes writing a detailed description about the trick. I logged in before I started and when I went to post it said I was not logged in and ereased the entire post...erggg
Short version: Take the wad and the little cup holding it out of the cart and drip a few drops down the side into an empty cart and the vapor is consistent till the battery craps out or the fluid is cashed! There are reasons for this and more to explain but I'm not wasting any more time till I see the site won't waste more of my time.

Dude, Ya done good. I've been beefing about low vapor and no hit..... This solved it! Thanks a million! :D
