If we're gonna delete single supplier threads the mods should make it fair across the board and not just target one business that happens to be popular and that a moderator doesn't seem to like.

I came to this group because I wanted to read some non biased reviews on LOCAL businesses so that I could support them and support my LOCAL community.

If we are going to start labeling posts as SPAM because a certain vendor rises in popularity you have to be fair across the board and delete all of them. Otherwise it's just the moderators targeting one business and that is the opposite of fair.

You might not like what I'm saying and this might get me kicked but if this is how it's going to be maybe it's time to shop around for a new moderator.

I probably would have lasted a week on E-cigs if I didn't have the discussions and shared experiences from this thread that helped to point me to GOOD vendors and if you're gonna just take that away and make this a place to post about meet ups for your preferred vendors it's become a dictatorship and I won't waste my time here.

You can point the finger at ECF but when one vendor thread is deleted and the rest are left alone it really hints towards a vendetta.

If thats something this social group is aiming towards then I don't want to be a part of it.

Well, don't know the reasoning behind it, but will have to agree about if one gets closed and deleted, the others should as well to be fair. Was kind of taken back this morning when I seen threads deleted and was like, okaaaaaaaaaaaay, someone post a report or something? So not to get myself in trouble I refraining from any quips or remarks I'll regret. Shame though, was one of our more active threads -_-

*Edit -

Was nice to finally meet you face to face with your wife today at the new shop.

First of all I want to apologize to everyone for getting that thread deleted. This isn't about you, it's about me. This personal issue has taken on a life of it's own. I'm sure even my apology to the board won't last long on here, and as that may be, it may be. But I would like to take the opportunity to let you guys know that because of a personal issue with me, you lost a thread on a beloved local shop.

To those involved, this is why I splintered off VIP. A democratic group that welcomes EVERYONE. There's no bias or vendetta, no hate, no anger, just a driving passion to share something we all love with as many people as possible. I want to be very clear that I'm not trying to troll anyone, or be mean, I just want to share with you WHY there's a huge rift and WHY it's a huge problem.

Is this what's best for the vaping community in Phoenix? Absolutely not.

Can we co-exist in a city of 6 million people as two group? I strongly believe we can

We picked dates for our events that don't conflict with yours, this was intentional. Let's stop being mean, and start moving forward to making Phoenix the best city for vaping in the United States, and then the WORLD! mwaahhahaha =)

I also want to say once and for all. I am in NO WAY associated with .... Out. I don't work there, I don't shop there exclusively. In fact, I'm waiting on my delivery of Ekowool from KidneyPuncher this weekend hopefully. It's been said before that I only shill for one shop, and that's not true. I love ALL our shops. I have met so many awesome people at so many awesome shops in the Valley and the only vested interest I have is seeing them ALL be successful. The only reason you see me at .... Out more often is they're like 2 blocks from my house and you can't beat that kind of convenience.

Very nice to meet you too. Always good to put faces to the names in reality space. Really liked chatting with you guy too. Another out of the way shop for the west siders but I'll make the time to frequent that one too.

Choice mech mods from Ghost too.

I might have to auction off my bottle of Bobas, sell one of my SVD's and buy one.

We'll see if I can get a grasp on rebuilding first though.

Howdy VIP'ers!

Sorry I haven't been around lately, I busted my good arm and typing has become a maddeningly frustrating chore. Because of this, I'll keep it short.

Sunny and I have truly enjoyed organizing the central meets for the last year or two, but the mixture of my injury and our combined distaste for the politics of late have prompted us to announce our withdrawal from the administration of Vaping In Phoenix. We'd love to stay on as VIP members, but we consider ourselves members of the grand vaping community first and foremost, and don't cotton to the exclusion of anyone. We wish Vicky and Barry and the rest of the admins all the best going forward.

We look forward to seeing you all at meets around the Valley, new and old. Vape on, Phoenix!

Hey, like Jay, if you want to setup a time to hang out at a coffe shop or some place else I can help you with the protank and evod head rebuilds, even the technique of making micro-coils. Currently I'm here fiddling with one of my new RSST's that for some dang reason isn't wicking my ADV juice quick enough, might have to go stainless sleeved in Ekowool. The first one I built the coil at the shop, wicking my backup ADV just fine, wondering if it something to do with PG/VG ratios. -_-, guess I'm gonna be scratching my head all night trying to figure it out, but love a good challenge.

@wylic - if they truly had a vendetta toward you, I think they would have deleted your account by now. Dunno what the issue is, was, whatever, all I know is I'll be lurking this section, maybe add a quip here and there, but move my activity mainly to the new member section. Anyway, don't let it drag you down if at all possible ;)

I wish you were right. But it's why our event got deleted from this forum. I am more than happy to post all of the VIP events to our social groups. But I'm apparently not welcome to post my events here, which is a shame. This isn't what the community is supposed to be about, and it makes me a sad panda =(

@Dave I read somewhere that you're up in the Sunnyslope area, I work up there. =) Should grab a coffee sometime and talk vaping

I certainly did not mean to infringe on the rules when I started a thread reporting on a local shop...
I am not affiliated nor have any interest in the B&M, just reporting my experience.
I was taken back that it was deleted and had no intention of stepping on toes as I have
the utmost respect for the board and the moderators as is attested to by my financial support
by being a paying member.
Dave, you will be sorely missed! Hope to meet you at a vape meeting one day!
