I prefer the more airy draw... Produces much more vapor at lower voltages. You can always plug one hole and have the same performance.
My 2 hole T3 used to alternate between a tight draw and a loose draw (which I prefer) during a single tank filling and I couldn't figure out why. So, I took the next M size drill up from the hole size and drilled out one of the holes.

So far I've gone through about 5 tanks and it is producing a perfectly even light draw throughout the entire tank full. I guess drilling out one hole might be the equivalent of 3 holes.

Next I'm going to try cotton wicks and see how that works.
