Not to be argumentative, but...
I disagree with the principle of using euphemisms to soften the blow of words, as the euphemism itself soon picks up all of the negative connotations of the word(s) it was meant to replace. As an example, think of the word "......ed". It is itself a euphemism that has it's own euphemisms, because it has gained the negative connotations and usage of the words it was meant to replace.

Being a fan of a certain line of models is fine...good for you...good for the inventor of that model line it says alot when they have fans..
But there comes a line where it changes to the derogatory "fanboy"...
This was most recently seen with the 4 in 1 debate/debacle..from the outside of it all oh my god it looked like someone smacked a bee hive with a stick..
a whole lot of look at this look what this guy stole..
and then (here's where the derogatory "fanboy" comes in) someone runs over to that other subforum and starts with my guy was first with this and first with that and shame on you and starts a thread there about how you're just following the "chinese way of inventing" and then it just sets off another round of fighting, arguing and whining..

Drozd, a friendly question and out of topic. You seem a nice and inteligent guy so why you want to buy an nhaler mod that is a direct copy of GG and also it can start firing when you touch the button and the atomizer together with a metal and also he said lies to people about 5 volt option by unscewing a plastic cap?

I think both manufacturers are proud of their accomplishments and they should be... But I have to agree that thread over there was pretty ridiculous...

Well Imeo, that sig line was written a way back now and I've since changed my mind I think about that and whether I want one or not, you will notice that even then it was last on my list..But I will answer your question fairly..first I've seen videos both supporting and disproving the whole 5V thing...it's been beaten to death the only word on it now I would trust is my own hard evidence one way or the other..second Drew has always been a stand up guy with me even on little tiny orders he's taken his time to answer stupid obvious questions in a quick manner, I've never had any issue with any product from him. Third when it comes to that and the regular people just starting to get into mods like I did..I sat and looked and here are 2 mods one is $75 one is $180 (I cant remember the actual price I saw the grant at)...one is a regular stocked item with different designs (skins) and the other is hard to track down and order and wait for and has one finish and that big laser etched logo...both have fans that swear by them..well I'm gonna go with the one that I have a choice on how it looks, is half the price, and can have in 2-3 business days..
That being said it's not on my immediate list of wants if ever..there are at least 4 things that I would want first and all but 1 of those I can wait till after I get certain non PV things before I even bother to look at them..
oh it's more complicated than that it was in response to a thread over here over a thread over there over a thread over here about an anouncement over there..
And yeah it was totally uncalled for...at least he didn't delete the thread...
That's the type of fanboy stuff that annoys me...actually annoys me to the point that I think it actually hurts the business that the "fanboy" is touting..
Even if I were looking at a GG product that kind of behavior pushed it to the end of my list..which sucks for the creator

Drozd I am not trying to argue with you or put down what you have said in any way but I know there are threads here that you have never read. I don't think they have been deleted. If you had read the threads here you might feel a bit different. Some times people get upset and say things after they feel provoked. I very seldom post anywhere but here because there are some that don't like GG people. I don't go to others forums and post. Most of us here don't either. We really do just want to get along.

as for wanting a gg or not..at this time I have to honestly say that it might be very very low on my list of priorities..and that it's been dropped that low by how some people act formost and then by waiting til the bugs are worked out..in order of priority would be super t, then several non pv related things (new tent, a couple of new swords, a second computer, updated videogame system), then bartleby, vp pt, chuck, then maybe a gg....
if it get's locked and pushed to the bottom then I probably don't read it (and threads seem to get locked quickly here)...I'm sure there are fan that attack both ways..but I saw was a thread that started here about another manufacturer making a 4 in 1 adapter (totally different in design than the gg one) and how he should be ashamed because he "stole" the idea..then some gg folks over on his forum just being rude..then more back here...then one of the gg "fanboys" back on his forum start a post about how he was following the "chinese way of inventing" ...but I'm sure theres some nastiness both ways around from other suppliers too..I read alot more than you probably think I do and remember alot of it...Drozd I am not trying to argue with you or put down what you have said in any way but I know there are threads here that you have never read. I can understand how Imeo could be upset about the xhaler debacle..
but again I was commenting on the fine line between fan and enthusiast and "fanboy"...the chuck fanboys are only slightly less annoying, snide and whiney...they're more vicious about it..

what are you planning on getting? I was thinking of getting a gaming PC, but decieded that I would rather game it up with a console instead. I got both the PS3 (gift) and Xbox 360 and both I enjoy equally. Uncharted 2 was my fav. from last year... I'm looking forward to the GW3... FF13.well I like the 360..i like that I could network it to my PC and the zune..the wife and kids want a wii..I'm still replacing a bunch of stuff that we lost in a fire last year so my tent (it's a custom job that cost me $2000 for the canvas) and the swords I lost at $600 a pop come firstupdated videogame system........cant go wrong with that.

So your a sword collector, whats your favorite style to collect in? Japanese, Chinese, Mid-evil, Fantasy that kind of style. Me personaly tai-chi swords are my favorite... but the Katana is pretty close to my fav. The Tai-chi swords can be swift and flexible with absalute prosission.
The Katana is balanced and powerful. The way its made takes almost 1 to 2 weeks to finish sometimes longer depending on the fold (hand crafted). But the last step to get the curve is amazing. Did you know that when they mix the metals and selective compounds together at the start that is what creates the curve at the end. After the last heat and then cooled in water the metal changes and as it cools the blade curves.... just simply amazing.

The thread about the 4 in 1 connector was for a reason, a very good reason, and I am talking about threats, insults etc. So I don't take it back, all what has been sad is true. What is very childish is that it is closed, so no reply is possible. It shows the chinese communist way is actually a fact!
Mamu started a thread saying that GGGrant costs 180 dollars. Thats a lie Droz. She is one more person that tries to destroy me with several ways. GGGrant costs 95 euros, that means 130 dollars. Of course if I was American GG would cost 95 euros but its this damn exchance rate.
But you see the reasons even for this small diference? The copier dont understand what he makes, he just copies so nhaler has so many problems with his device.
As for the fact if he is helpful: If I was a lier the only way to keep my customers would be to be friendly and helpful.
There is no video prooving that unthreading a plastic you have 5 volts because this can be done only with a big help of David Copperfield!!!

If you read this thread more carefully you will see an insult to me. If you also read his posts on my forum you will see the same. So someone GG friend couldnt resist and did this thread over there. I did the same some months before when Trog insult a friend here.
