With the way they all vary so much from vendor to vendor... but surely an 'average' (pre-discounts/coupons) from the reputable suppliers mentioned here, probably would at least help newbs (myself included) to avoid the scams.

My biggest confusion I think, has been the different 510s and eGos out there, and thinking - ooh, there's one cheaper - then reading on and realizing it isn't a Joye. After reading what I have (non-stop for the past few days), if I'm going this route, I'm going with the name I see most prevalently in a positive light ;o) Without posts like this, I'd probably be unhappy again with a 2nd purchase.

I have the volcano basic vape on order and it should be in tomorrow. I have heard from a friend of a friend that the quality of each vape session can vary between cartridges in regards to vapor volume. My question is, is there more likely of a chance that the atty is getting dirty? Or actual variations in cartridge quality?

Well the Envy didnt work out for me.. I couldnt get the one battery to work so... I talked to a friend who recommended the Joye Ego.. wow what a difference. Plus it comes with 2 batteries. Im vapping away now lol I love it!!!
