As the saying goes, "An ounce of prevention..."

An excellent word of caution. It is important for people to realize that any time you begin moving away from a device's intended purpose or trying to goof around with flashlights or laser pointers or old beepers and slapping an atty on them to get a different vaping experience there are things that can go wrong. Of course, my understanding just from doing some research is that you shouldn't use LR atties on a eGo with pre-filled carts and that you will burn through atties a lot faster than using the eGo strictly as a longer lasting battery.

I'm pretty new at vaping, but I discovered that while I like my 510 (with manual extended life battery - 280 mah, I think), changing to the ego 900 mah gave me more consistently satisfying vapor and TH. The 510 batteries go with me also, though, when I'm out and about. They're lightweight by comparison with the eGo batteries, which do weigh my pockets down a little, and with extra cartos I can vape with someone wanting to try ecigs without swapping spit!

Hi, I am new here, but not to vaping...just need some answers pls. I am looking to buy XL Ceramic Cartomizers at a great price to B.C. Canada...I am also looking for a VG e-juice vendor preferably in Canada, due to the risk of seizures. My favorite is 555. does anyone know of anywhere reputable and cheap? Thanks sooo much in advance...sorry if i'm posting in the wrong area. Thank you all :)

One more question? I only use the Ego...due to the awesome battery life and only use Carto's...does anyone know where I can get Ego batteries for cheap? I've use GHO and they are the cheapest i've found at $14.99 each...and shipping to Canada was only two weeks...however i've seen bulk suppliers in China for super cheap prices on everything, has anyone had any good experiences/prices/shipping from any of these places for carto's, batteries, and quality VG e-juice?...and if so...could you recommend a place or two...to ship to Canada. Thank you all :) Happy Vaping :)

hi all, read the last five pages and am too impatient to see if the answer to my question exists in this thread.

super newbie here, I know nothing, except my "freebie" e-cigs no longer makes vapor. It's charged. what is up? I've used it maybe three days on and off. Still smoking regular cigarettes. My short term goal is to get my e-cig working (vapor) and use up the refills I can't return. In the meantime I see I have much to learn from this website. My goal is to become smoke-free.

So baby question again is why is there no vapor from my e-cig? I have a fresh cartridge in place as well. thanks for your help!

Did u atomizer have the heating sound when you press on the button? Can I know what model you are using?
Changing carts doesn't means there will be vapour from a faulty atty.

Yes, actually u can vape without nicotine but I think you may not find the throat hit and eventually it will not be your alternative to smoking.
You should start off with the nicotine to balance up your body craving for nicotine which you used to get from tobacco. Than After 1-2 weeks, you will find that you do not want to smoke tobacco cigarette and eventually you are consider a non-smoker. Than you can start to reduce on your nicotine level. This maybe the plan for you.

Lately I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there are e-cigarettes which do not contain any nicotine at all. However I still cannot get used to this new way of smoking and keep on puffing with conventional cigarettes.
