Welcome to ECF. Most batteries do have a partial charge when you receive them and will need to be "tooped off". My first kit was a 510 with mega batts and both were fully charged within an hour or so. Depending on the brand, when fully drained, it could take up to two hours to recharge them.

Happy vaping!

Tastey Vapor, thanks RobNY, i will have to try them next. It is so amazing the amount of liquid out there, it is kind of overwhelming. I started vaping in part to save money but it has become such a hobby that i might actually be spending more now than i was on real cigs, I just have to watch my budget. I am in constant search for the perfect vape. I have had some good liquid from Totally Wicked, the red label has killer throat hit with the 510, i have a DSE901 on order, i like the 901 atty a little better than the 510, it burns a little cooler and gives me the ability for a smoother longer drag.

So in my previous post I wanted to join to this.
I am a very new member and I don't speak English well, I don't even know how this forum works as you can see.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately the mailman let me down again today.

I want to thank you so much for this post, Kristin. I've seen several other posts by you and your help is very much appreciated by Vape-newb's like me! Since I'm brand new to this forum, I couldn't post in your PTB-Straw Made Easy mod thread, so I'll say it here... thank you SO much for that mod, it works like a charm and now I'm LOVING the flavors that I never could taste before (using the standard polyfil cart filler).

I don't like all these rules

Whether we like them or not, rules exist for a reason (here, and in life in general) and should be read and understood by all members, new and old alike.

I recommend all recent members take a look at http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...262-new-members-how-many-posts-do-i-need.html, paying particularly close attention to the last part which reads:

"Please be aware that "spamming" useless posts for the sole purpose of raising your post count is not allowed, and may result in your posts being deleted."

It isn't difficult for anyone to get their post-count up with legitimate questions, comments, and thank-yous.

Just some friendly advice so everyone can get the most of their ECF experience.

There should be something about mods and modding (making your own PV's) in the FAQ.

The Puck mod is very easy for a beginner to build and all the parts (except the atty) can be found at Radio Shack.

When I started, the Trio and BE-103 e-cigs weren't giving enough vapor and the vapor they gave wasn't consistent.

I was ready to give up on vaping until I found discovered the world of modding and found the How to Build the Puck thread. I built one and t was love at fist puff! After many mods it's still one of my main vapes! There are a few variations of it also. I have the modding bug and it's a great hobby!

I stopped smoking the day I started vaping.

btw: the term "e-cig" has such a nasty connotation I hate to use it at all, especially with people curious about vaping.... (except for maybe the ones that look like cigs and even then I use "PV"). Anything "cig" just sounds nasty and it seems most people transition to personal vaporizers that don't look anything like a cigarette.

Modding is a major part of my vaping experience!

Anyone who has questions can PM me, post on the How to Build the Puck thread or post here. There are many who will help if you want to try building one.

Thanks to this forum, I decided to make V2cigs my first purchase. As I have since found out, they are a good, but newer startup company and have many back order issues. I started with "travelers starting kt" which sounded very promising. I have to date only received 2 batteries, my cartomizers, and 1 charger (the basic wall charger w/pc attachment). Well this is not very traveler friendly so far LOL. No auto charger yet, no PCC charger yet, and no computer charger yet. I do spend a lot of time at home and on my computer, so I was really, really, wanting to get that passthrough : ( After checking with that company today, they say they will not get all those chargers in until the end of the month. Then add to that, the time to fill all the back orders, and the shipping time, and I'm looking at a long wait. So, not having patience, I went to Myvaporstore.com and ordered a passthrough, should have by the end of the week, yeah!!! But they also had a Mega Battery their, at a reasonable price so I ordered that too. My question: they say the battery life is 3-4 weeks??? Can that be true? Anyone else have one of these from them? Mine that I have now from V2cigs.com is guanateed for a year!! : ) Anyone have expierience with the Mega from myvaporstore.com and what has your expierience been. So much to learn LOL : )

I guess you should try out on Janty, they have several model up in sleeves and they seldom run out of supplies. I really like their DHL Express service.
