Battery question.

What are some better batteries? Would 1100 be good? and does that mean it last longer and works better than a lower number like 280?

The larger the battery's mah (milliampere hours)rating, the longer a battery will last between charges. You also have to pay attention to the resistance of atomizers or cartomizers you're using. That is, the resistance of the atty/carto should be compatible with the size battery you're using.
Generally the lower the resistance (ohms) rating on an atty/carto the quicker it'll drain a battery. The advantage of lower resistance is that more vapor is produced, but if the battery you're using won't handle the load, the battery, atomizer or cartomizer can be damaged/burned.

Here's some info from a compatibility chart I found in the Madvapes website knowledge base:

510, 901,808 and other China batteries: 2.5 ohm is the standard but they will work as low as 2.0 ohms. Higher resistance produces less vapor. Below 2.0 ohms, the battery life is signifigantly reduced and the batteries may be damaged

eGo: 2.0 - 2.5 ohms. Same as above.

3.7 Volt mods, roughstacks, box mods, e-Power: 1.7 to 3.2 ohms Above 3.2 ohms, vapor production will be reduced. Lower than 1.7 ohms, battery may think it's a short and not work.

From personal experience, two Riva 750 mah batteries (these are Ego style) will get me through an average day of vaping with 2.5 ohm cartomizers - a little less than a day using 2.0 ohm cartomizers. Of course, it can't be said enough that what is an average day for one may not be for another....

Hope this helps :)

Here is what I have ordered. Perhaps you can advise me what will work best with the setup please?

2 - 901 atomizers
2 - 3.7V 1100mAh rechargeable batteries in Black
1 - atomizer/carto cone
1 - USB wall adapter
1 - USB 901 rapid battery charger
10 - Black flat tip cartridges

Kanger Quality.
G4 Clearomizer bottom coil design for lots of vapor.
Easy to refill and long lasting.
5 pack clear

Kanger Quality
Best 808D Carto's available Horizontal and wonderful!
5 pack black

I guess the thing im not sure about at all is the cartomizer vs clearomizer? what will be best? what is the difference exactly?

Is that where the liquid goes?

Thanks!

Looks like a good kit you've ordered for extended vaping time!
I've never used the G4 clearomizers, so I can't give an opinion on them, but I can tell you I'm a fan of the horizontal coil cartos - I use the Kangers in both 808D and 510. The difference between them is: G4s have no filler in them, whereas the Kanger horizontals do. So, with the G4s you are basically putting the liquid in a tank containing the bottom heating coils and with the Kangers you are saturating the filler in the tube with liquid. Reading user reviews on both will help you decide which kind (or both) to order.
Another accessory you may want to get is a couple of drip tips - alot of vapers enjoy using atomizers with them for direct dripping (putting several drops in the tip to feed the atomizer). I use this method to test flavors and always have drip tips on my cartomizers instead of the "plug" tip they come with.

yeah the mod stuff confuses me and im not quite electronically inclined so the whole voltage thing is like a foreign language to me lol ive got the 501/901 connection things figured out and the 650/900/1100 battery things too! however my friend just got a lavatube mod and im soooo lost on that! why changing voltage is needed and what the heck voltage even means compared to 650/900 batts lol

I believe the Lava Tube is a variable voltage mod - the purpose of a VV is to match the voltage of the mod with whatever you attach to it, i.e., atomizers or cartomizers which vary in their resistances. The battery sizes you mention are all 3.7 volt.
I use 2 to 2.8 ohm resistance attys and cartos (mostly cartos) at 3.7 volt ad am very happy with this voltage. I think 2.5-2.8 ohm is considered standard and some use as low as 1.5 ohm items also. Note: The lower the resistance, the quicker it drains your battery.
I am an "if it isn't broke, don't fix it" kind of person, so will probably never even go to 5 volts.
