How would you fill it without taking it off as I need to unscrew the base in order to be able to fill it?

Leave the base on the mod
turn the whole mod upside down
Hold the base and unscrew the tank park
put the mod with base down
fill the tank
reassemble.

a 'beauty ring' is also helpful to lock the tank onto the mod so that the 510 connection does not keep moving.

your nautilus probably came with a 'beauty ring'. it's the ring on the right.
You screw that down on your eGo threaded battery, all the way down
then put the tank on, and check that the tank works
then unscrew the ring upwards and lock it upwards onto the tank.

So a little update on my behalf. I think I tried a lot of the gear available on the market to finally arrive where I wanted to be all along. Since you guys have been part of this journey I wanted to share.

I had bought and sold: The Evod 2 Starter Kit, the Kanger Emow Mega Kit, the Delta 19, the Nautilus Mini, the Kanger Subtank and the MVP 20 (the last two are for sale now.

My favorite Set up is still the Mini Aerotank with a 14 mm, 10w battery and the Aerotank Mow with the 16.5 mm iJust D16 which also has 10 watts.
I do not use Kanger Stock coils but these instead: Unicoil Virtual Vape Rewickable Cotton Coil uk

It all handles my thinned VG juices really well, I can re-wick myself and will get the coils wrapped at a local B&M once they start dying on me.

It feels good to be settled! Thank you all for your help.
