Well, I just checked and my parcel has been processed through Burlingame a second time. I may be caught in the same time loop continuum as Sanfran.

I have a package coming from Chicago. Estimated delivery today. It hasn't been scanned since Chicago (should've been scanned that night) and didn't come today. Must be a bad week for USPS, probably the Chinese holiday throwing them off.
You do have a point and it's something I've thought about quite a bit. And if things are just a bit more at the local B&M store (not that I even had one until about a month or so ago), I'll buy it there. Also, if I need something right away, I'll pay a lot more at the local B&M.
On the other hand, I can buy CE4 clearomizers from FastTech for $1.35 each (6 pack for just over eight dollars). I'd be happy to pay $2.99 each at my local store. Even $3.99. But they want $7.99!! That's a bit much, IMHO.
But I figure that the money I saved will be spent on something else.
Great News!! I received my order today!! Opened the package and there were my two Evods and adapter for the Vamo..then the box for the Charger that was in with the Vamo kit..I was like what? Where's the Vamo? Yes, it was inside the charger box along with the two batteries! I have to say...those batteries are a lot bigger than the Pics make them look! I was thinking something along the lines of the size of a AA, but maybe a bit longer!
Quick question about the charger...Its the Nitecore I2..put one of the batteries in to charge, and one light is yellow, the light above it is flashing...how will you know when it is done charging? I looked at the instructions, but it doesn't say? Will all three lights, light up?
Yes, this Vamo kit was for my husband for Father's Day...but I went ahead and gave it to him...talk about happy! He's like a little boy with a new toy! I'm still Vaping on our Spinner Batts, and he keeps walking up to me with his chest Puffed out talking Smack about my "little Spinners" LMBO!
On to the Evods...EricH...these look JUST like the Kanger Evods..feel the same also. Had hubby check the ohms (because lets face it, he was wanting to try out all the bells and whistles with his Vamo) I ordered 2.6 ohms...one came up at 2.5, the other 2.6...good to go there...THEN! I unscrewed the bottoms to see how the heads looked...and I was just comparing the two new ones against each other...had my real Kanger no where near..and guess what?? These two new ones each have a different type head! I'm NOT kidding! One, pretty much looked like the Kanger head...the other?? Looks almost just like a Protank head! I brought my Protank over...and yes, they both have the same size long stem...one Evod has the short stem like the real Kangers...the other have a Protank type head! Now..get this! The one with the shorter stem, you can unscrew the head, to replace...you can NOT with the longer stem one! What??
I would love to take Pics..but am unsure which is easiest...take them with a Digital Camera and upload like that, you use a iPhone and log on here and go that way?
Anyhow...I have washed both Evods, but have yet put juice in either one to try out. As it is now, I know for certain I can at least change out heads with the one...hubby said for me to use the other one until the head goes out, then he'll try prying it apart to see about rebuilding it. I've changed heads out on the Protank before...and this does not come apart like the Protank??

To ease the fears of opening the package and not seeing a Vamo or batteries is why I said how mine was packed.
Now that it's out I can't figure out how they fit it all in there but it must not be how I remember it.

I always resize my photos to 800 x 600 before I upload to Photobucket. Not sure if you have that option though. I would love to see them because I have some Evods coming from FT that should be here next week.

On this pic, this is the one with the longer stem...if you'll noticed, it had an additional silicone type thing above the one that is normally there..I just pulled it up a bit to better see.
Here they are, a better view side by side..can tell better how much longer the stem is on the one. Also, if you'll look, I drew red arrows...the one on the left, the shorter one, you can see the small gap, to where you can unscrew it to change it out...that is missing on the bigger stem one..still can't get it to unscrew to change out.

I did it!!! It worked that time!!
I would have taken my original Kanger Evod and placed there with the ones of the heads, but it is filled with juice..sorry about that!

Those evods look legit, can't wait until I get mine. I'm should be getting my Vamo today from FT. Good times!
I also have the blue evod from fasttech that has the longer stem on it. The head is removable same as a kanger evod, my head comes unscrewed when I remove the base. I think it is just a tight fit in the air tube and gets held while I remove the head. The head in mine came DOA, broken wire on the coil. Kanger evod coils also fit it just fine.
I got my Evods today, build quality is good, no leaks, great value.
I still think the evods are slightly lower quality than the real ones. Plus i think those heads from FT are pure junk. US bought evods can run you 5 bucks with the legit head. Idk to me i dont think its worth 1 dollar difference!
got today my woodgrain ego batteries from fasttech, works great, look great but a little blemished, well they are great dof 5 buck a piece and free shipping 2 weeks to mexico (that is much faster than any us vendor time to get here)
I wasn't saying I wanted to pay a 200-300% markup on anything. I was throwing out a question that I wondered if anyone else had thought about. As for B&M stores...they are undoubtedly overpriced for my limited budget. It was just a subject I wondered if anyone else here had any thoughts on. Appreciate the feedback that was offered.
I'd buy from Fasttech things that are too expensive for me but not critical... I bought the T4 clearos in hope they use eVod heads, but if something better comes along I don't mind paying extra if it's good.
On the other hand the price for the iTaste SVD is unbeatable... So are driptip prices... 5 bucks for a driptip is a steal

and hows the battery performing on the stock head from FT 2.6ohm right?
there are some complaints here regarding receiving dead or not holding the charge.
