I've been thinking about picking one up, my main concern is extra parts. Id like to have at a minimum a few extra ceramic cups since ceramic is so prone to breaking

The Oddy clone that was floating around for around $35 at different American vendors did not get very good reviews, so a lot of people are worried about spending that kind of money on another poor chinese clone knowing much about it.

I think the crappy Oddy clone was made by Tobeco, but yeah most people had a lot of issues with it.

i already made the purchase. so i am waiting on my delivery. i know a few people with the real version and i will compare it with theres and hopefully have a nice side by side review shortly. fingers crossed it is not a paper weight !

I would expect it to be pretty good, i think a few American vendors were already carrying it under the name "Hercules" before fasttech came out with this. Hercules was supposed to be around the $60-70 mark? So this is a huge deal.

The $35 crappy Oddy clone was the Tobeco one, its the one that fasttech is carrying for $16. Ordered one to play with hoping to luck out on QC. Should be here this week.

the Hercules clone is made by Rainbow Heaven . I dont think this is the same clone but i could be wrong. still have not found anyone who has got one yet. i hope it is the Rainbow Heaven model because i hear it is spot on and very little difference in quality and the vape you get from it.

Well i know Rainbow makes the TermC which is the best Oddy clone yet. So if it is indeed Rainbow whos manufacturing this FT one its probably good.

I too am interested to hear more about this clone. But anything that requires joining resistance and non-resistance wire makes me nervous. Waiting on an alright kayfun clone.

I am pretty sure you can get wire that is already joined from Stormy's Vapor Cellar!

Mine will be here this week, and is currently in SF. I ordered it the day it came out, I think. I think a FT $35 clone is likely to perform like a $70 or $80 clone in the US and sounds promising. I will post my thoughts on it ASAP. Cannot wait to check it out. I haven't gotten a lemon yet from FT, having now tried about 100 items and twelve previous orders. Worth the risk, I thought. Will advise.

I know I recently saw some Ithakas for sale at American vendors, just scrounge up some of that extra change I know you've got lost between the couch cushions.

Don't really understand how people complain about the cost of something and then literally gamble on Chinese clones (or sometimes several). Doesn't that add up after a while?

i cant wait to hear about it to was just lookin at it after watchin bishopheals build a dual criss cross coil and replace a nut with a ceramic one. there is a problem with the original one needing a nut replaced.
