I have a SVD from itaste that I bought from Fastech. Is there a clone on there too? Mine is fine except the ocassionally carto that doesn't make contact with firing pin. In fact I like better than my Vamo in looks. I use it in 18490 size which wasn't an option with Vamo. So it's nice looking, good size wise and when you get used to the functions works just as efficiently. The threads are soft enough if there is no pressure from the Spring so I'm OK with the threads too. I'm glad I got it even though there was nothing wrong with my 8 month periodically used old Vamo. Which I wrapped for $12 and was chrome. I bought my SVD a la carte. I don't like clearomizers. Fantastic price IMO. Treat it nicely I am thinking. I do my Vamo and it WAS quite a work horse with me learning to drip on it. So I often clean and dry connections now and from what I nderstand the Vamo and SVD can have a problem with over wet connection site repeatedly and a lot. Something about a gasket failure. Me, I say why test the gasket. Just be less messy is all. Plus the SVD is stainless steel. It has a light on the power button so green is x and yellow is less battery life than green and red is battery life is headed to too low. just have to get used to the way to change and lock things and interpret the alpha codes. It's a good one. I like it. Only had a week though. I have a Provari in 18490 reg size and they are looking related to me. Very nice looking mods. But the edges on the grooves for SVD seem sharp. I've gotten used to that too! Ha ha

My lightsaber arrived yesterday, it is the genuine article, and a steal at FT prices.

Me too! Mine arrived monday or tuesday and I'm thrilled. My Zmax V3 Telescope has been having issues with the button, and I like the SVD better. When I get through my long list of needs, I'll be getting another one. No doubt it's an original, came in its box, sealed.
