Sort of off topic, but related, as we can't use ECF, FT and other sites without some sort of computer ;)

More about Windows 10.

Today, I have an article in the what Hi-Fi newsletter that explains it's basic functions on phones, tablets and PC's.
It states that Microsoft have lagged behind Apple and Google - but for me, I chose Windows over such as Apple.
It has that awful Cortana thing too ...hope I can get rid of that for a start!

Reading this, I wonder if it's possible to rid the screen of the tiles altogether and use it in a 7 style mode ...will have to find out.
"The tiles that featured heavily in Windows 8 are still there, but are now less prominent. You'll now be given what is considered to be a 'classic' looking Windows start screen, along with the tiles. It looks a lot less in-your-face than before. If you liked the tiles approach, however, you'll have the option of expanding them to fill your screen."

Read more at Windows 10 launch: 6 key highlights | What Hi-Fi?

I also saw it featured on the past weeks edition of BBC's Click: BBC iPlayer - Click - 24/01/2015

Cheers Terry.
Am i right thinking they are using DHL?

I see bob has answered your question george, i`m glad it`s china post other than SG, as the latter has gone really crap these days  In other news my infinite V4`s have upgraded from ships in 7 days, to ships next day, and they are now ready to ship. :) That coiler which i ordered, wasn`t due in stock for another 3 days, so i have cancelled that so it doesn`t hold my tanks and tweezers up. Money back in the piggy bank now

Well I've rebuilt the final orchid one sided, dont even have to block the unbuilt side juice channels, just the air port on the V4s. I'm not keen on too warm a vape and the dual coils were drinking juice like billyo without any noticeable ( to me anyway ) improvement in flavour so it's all good

Thats how i do mine vinnie, but i split the wick tails and feed the blank channels that way. And i just block off the vacant air port with a bit of cocktail stick, I get some lovely juicy clouds that way. :)

How do you rate the orchids against the lemo Terry

I find the orchids a nice denser vape vinnie. The lemo`s are ok, but will probably be replace by the KF v4`s, the ones i ordered are getting some really good reviews on FT. So watch this space mate, i may have some Lemo`s for sale soon :)

Is that a custard George ? probly get it at Chefs
You just reminded me that I have a bottle of Accies Ambrosia
....interestingly, I often associate other things with liquid flavours! I see a strawberry cream tart and immediately think of a bottle of liquid!- so funny how our minds have been 'altered'

I hope the OB is OK for me too ..and that it tastes good! :)
I was looking at the Redjuice site - click on the juice link at the top of the page and it lists them on a new page - better still, there are choices down the right hand side, including VG/PG variations ...I clicked on all down to 70VG and got 23 results. Far easier than trying to find such information on individual sites, and credit to them for listing that information too!

Nor me!

Well hopefully I might find out if I like the juices tomorrow, the order shipped today :) I've not used the Redjuice site, but I can see how helpful it will be for you Trisha. As you know, I mostly use around the 50/50 mark, so it's not so much of a problem for me.

Re-coiled my lemo with Ni200 yesterday and the dna40 is reading it correctly again now. Made sure to wrap the wires round the screws nice and snug and tighten the screws down tight.

Had some serious flooding issues after I'd wicked it and filled it so it took a lot of blowing into it while upside down to sort the pressure, this caused a fair bit of juice to spray out of the airflow and land on my face. Good job I wear glasses.

Got it sorted in the end though and it's vaping really good.

 Sorry, but that made me laugh Adam. I've actually done that myself and had a bit of juice in the eye - only wear glasses for driving, not for close up work. I tell you what mate, juice in the eye does sting a bit

I see FT have the Smok Pro in 65, 45 & 22W. $48.34 Authentic SMOK XPro M65 65W Variable Wattage APV Box Mod - 6.0-65W / 1*18650 / aluminum alloy / M50 upgraded version at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
They're a little bit bigger than the iStick 20 & 30W. All Start at 6W.

They also have the MVP 20W too.

Think I'll wait for the iStick 50.

Reassuring ...they have a Lockpickers gun and few other related tools in today's new items

I'd wait for the iStick too Trisha. There's some mixed postings on FT about the XPro. Must admit I do quite like the styling - looks like an old stereo amplifier I used to have in one of my cars. Back in the days when the exhaust had to be as big as a dustbin and the stereo had to be that loud it shattered windows at half volume

I wish the Chinese could clone me an Alessandra Ambrosio ;-)

I had to google her George. That sounded a bit pervy :pervy::laugh:

Bit too young for me, although I hear she likes men with beards

Get in there Bob

Your local royal mail sounds awful Bob. I've never come across any problems like this back home in Cornwall or here in Scotland.

The only thing they ever do which I don't always think is right is where they leave parcels if you're not in.

They used to put them in the bin by the side of the house sometimes, which used to be where we'd put the dog ****!

Up here they usually leave them in our recycling box outside the flat door which is ok I think as there's no danger of it being collected and it's just cardboard and stuff in it. The other week though they left a small package for me just on top of the mail boxes so anyone else who lives in our building could just have it if they fancied.

Also hate it when they don't bother bringing the parcels round for delivery and just give you a card.

But overall, they're not bad.

I've had the same thing happen mate. Card through the door, "parcel in bin". When I got home it was dark and I couldn't find my torch. Sods Law, it was in the last bin I rooted around in - we have 4 bins

If you need any help spending it mate, just give me a shout - I'm good at spending money at FT

So, first thoughts on the Kuro concepts coilers. I got 2 sets of the mixed size ones - 6 coilers in total (2x 2mm,2x 2.5mm & 2x 3mm)

1. They'll need a bit of a clean first. Some have a bit of a crunchy feel, while others the top section slips on and off the rod quite easily.

2. I was expecting them to be quite light, but they do have a good feeling of weight in the hand.

3. The hex screws are all quite loose, which is a good thing, as I'll be ditching one hex screw on each coiler. Planning to use the 2mm coilers for twisted coils, the 2.5mm coilers for 24 & 26g wire and the 3mm coilers for standard micro coils.

4. The paint finish on each one is really good. There's a small bit of scuffing on a couple of the coilers where the hex screws have rubbed against the base section in transit - but they'll get even more scuffed up when I start using them.

5. All the wire feed holes are positioned perfectly and seem a reasonable size for thicker wire and parallel builds.

6. All hex screws are positioned just right for thicker wire builds and thinner wire builds.

I'm pretty pleased with them. I'll give them a clean up tomorrow and have a play. Looking forward to a marathon coiling session tomorrow :)

Adam, i have found doing the opposite to your method is a bit better. Instead of turning the lemo toward the ceiling ( upside down ) and blowing through the drip tip, i Take the base off, turn it upside down, and over the sink, and blow though the bottom, as if i were blowing a marble through a hose pipe. Any mess just goes into the sink then, or a tissue if you prefer. :)
