Have you had them all before? I seem to think you might have had #3 back when it was a ready made, so Blue Lush sounds like the most unusual?

I want to make some English Trifle - must do that :)
No, all new ones Trish ! I did have some of the Apple Pie and Irish cream a while back, but this is Custard :)
Anyhoo, for now i`ve just scrubbed my custard tank out primed and filled with Claire`s, and will have a go at that tonight..

Ah - completely missed that it was custard! Let me know what that's like - recall not liking the Irish cream version much.
Karl announced some new Chefs ones coming soon too - Old Fashioned (rice pudding), plus a few others such as Jam Roly Poly & Custard, Grapple lemonade, and another that I'm not sure what.

Very Very Nice Trish, i like it much better than the Welsh Custard. At first i thought it tasted a bit iffy but i had forgot to turn my watts down ! Was still set on 40w but back down to 25w and it`s bang on :)

Glad you like it. It's one of those I can happily use all day - messes the windows up a bit, but I need to damp dust frequently in here to avoid bits in paint, so worth it.
I make mine at 18% because of all VG, and make a few 100 ml each time now. Think I did 500ml last time and just kept refilling my 140 ml bottle! :) To me it tastes of rich custard with thick whipped cream mixed in.
A delivery man kept saying he loved coming here because there's a lovely smell of baking cakes when I open the door :facepalm:

I think I'd like to mix some banana custard with a fresh cream, and perhaps a little sponge cake ...will make a bottle of cream to mix with other stuff when I get around to it.

Been playing with ancestry a bit late and came across a good page on occupations. I now understand where the name Pictor comes from, very apt.
Ah! :laugh: - wondered if anyone had worked that out ...suppose some would know anyway, depending on languages studied.

I don't recall it being brilliant either - but apparently, that one wasn't Karls recipe ...the new one is.
Can but try it or wait for feedback :)
Would be better if they did 10 ml bottles opposed to 30 ml, so not so much waste if it`s not liked :)
