Never known it so quiet on here yesterday. So I've done some net surfing and found this. It's not an exciting interview at all. But I think everyone even none vapers should look at the main point here. EU are passing laws without following the correct and due process and ignoring the real scientific and medical evidence. I've signed it.

Think Terry must have been playing with his Subtanks :laugh:
Like any laws that politicians [spit] make, they are only legal once they have been proven in law. I've signed as well.

On another note, it's going a bit dark down here, but not going to be able to see anything as we are blanketed by cloud.

They're all ignoring the scientific & medical evidence derived from intensive study - all of a sudden, science can't be believed? Funny how it is believed when they want to fill us full of the latest pills, or stop us doing something, but when science actually agrees with what we're doing, it's as though they don't exist or count for anything.
Yes, I've signed it.

Who stands to challenge the EU rule makers?
Last time I took any significant notice, the EU were being more accepting of it given the scientific evidence and estimates of saved lives. ....when did the tobacco and pharmaceutical companies brainwash them!?

Sometimes, I wonder where the 'democracy' bit comes in - we can 'say' all we like, but no-one seems to listen.

Anyway I've signed it.

I was in the kitchen and the thought passed my mind that it must be going to rain, as I'd forgotten - looked out of the window and it was just beginning on the top right section of the sun ...pretty rapid how fast it moved across (I was taking brief glances, nothing more) one of our sons took a photo when it was a thin slice of light bottom left.

No, he was AWOL

Corporate Companies rule the countries by giving out backhanders so that they can get laws passed that suits them, doesn't matter which country you are in.

Looks like you are the lucky ONE, probably because you are away from a Major town/city

I went out to look at the eclipse - lots of cloud - but then I remembered that I still have my eclipse glasses from 1999. Bingo! Could see right through the haze and had a very good view indeed (as did several of my neighbours and a chap repairing a wall who all came to have a go). It helps if you live high up on the side of a hill out in the sticks. For a partial eclipse this one was very big indeed - getting close to total (but nothing is as spooky as a total).

I sent him a PM last night to let him know I was posting the MBV coffee samples to him today - haven't heard back from him yet though.

Exactly! ...so why, when it's so blatantly obvious, do they get away with it?
Ignoring science when it suits them is outrageous & jaw dropping - yet it happens!

In many ways, we are all paying or contributing to the research for science - even down to the charity collection bags and shops that we donate to. We help fund it, yet can't use the results!

Looks like you are the lucky ONE, probably because you are away from a Major town/city
Wasn't cloud free, but a patch thinned/broke enough for me to see it hazily happening.
I saw posts at the broadband forum when people in Norfolk hadn't seen it at all apart from the darkening light, yet someone in W London took a decent photo, as had someone in Newton Abbott.
A few others in unknown locations didn't see it either. I think it depended on the angle/direction it was viewed from - some would see behind the patch of cloud and others wouldn't.

Yes, I've signed it.

In my opinion it's going to take peer reviewed scientific study to refute any scaremongering and then the word will need to be spread to non vapers, and looking at the pee poor attempts to get the various vaping controls halted or reversed, I dont hold out much hope for either the interest or funding for either
When you can point to a candle and explain that there are more toxic products of combustion from that one candle than there would be from a thousand vapers and be met with the same expression that you might get from a chimp that you were teaching Calculus as I was, then I think we're in for a long bumpy ride

A couple of weeks ago I mixed 4 UK Flavours concentrates and after a week they were ok, however another week on and they have all lost something, the flavour is not as sharp or as deep and at a mixing ratio of 20% I dont think there's anything to be gained in persevering with this particular brand
Since I adjusted the red astaire to 10% and let it steep it is now a lovely vape of full flavour and character (I'd still prefer it without the eucalyptus though)

Silly beggars sent you upside down ones!

If only some big, notable UK or EU law firm with strong feelings about this could take up the cause pro bono, and gather together the eminent physicians and scientists who already did all the work to prove the efficacy and safety aspects, a few of the top suppliers of decent equipment and liquids, and some huge, signed petitions ...just perhaps there'd be a wake up call to the fact that the only reason for any legislation that governments propose (apart from basic safety standards), is purely for financial gain and to satisfy the fat cats in tobacco and pharmaceuticals.
A big ask perhaps, but I'll bet with the right legal firm(s) at the helm, it could perhaps make some difference.

Since I adjusted the red astaire to 10% and let it steep it is now a lovely vape of full flavour and character (I'd still prefer it without the eucalyptus though)
I'd prefer the menthol aspect gone from it too! Avant Garde do a pretty good Berry Crush, and I've been thinking that with the right combination of well concentrated flavourings such as raspberry, strawberry, blackcurrant and perhaps even blueberry, something good could be achieved.
There's a mixed berry one in the Rebranded Range, but it's out of stock - I'll try it though when it comes back.
