On Friday it was six months that I smoked my last cig and started vaping properlly.
I had ego batteries and ce4's and thought they was ....e so I would vape through the week and smoke on the weekend
Then I seen my mate and he had a vision spinner 2 and it was like wow ... is that,I wanted one of them so I got one and 2 ce5 tanks a bottle of tidy menthol and I was in love.My missus was two weeks behind me she bought a cheap ego style battery and ce4 tank and loved it.
So far I've bought two spinners an ego twist a mvp 2.0,iStick 30 and 50 and a tesla invader(when it comes)
Attys I've got 3 aspire ets,2 mow tanks 1 nautilus 5 gs air's (love them) iclear 30s and a kanger sub tank
Tracey has bought 2 or 3 ego style batteries and about 10 -20 ce4s and still vaping. She did try a spinner but Said it was to big
I think she has done amazing not to smoke

Bit of both i think Trish.
They rang me last Monday to say they'd had a cancellation and therefore a vacant appointment.Gave me the date and time and said they would cofirm by post.
Right, well we'll blame both then! :D

Me too, sometimes have problems with the DNS server, so I dropped the IP and reconnected, but it made no difference
I suspected DNS, but Speedtest worked fast and showed my ping as it should be under normal conditions (for my connection), and there was no packet loss on the TBB BQM. Definitely ECF!

I recognised her straight away, didn't think she was 72 though
Suppose she would be ..I reckon high maintenance though!
I only watch NCIS if there is nothing else to watch
I've always watched the original one - I rather like the cast. It can be funny, but a bit serious, and often very human ..and last nights was very human ...must have been - made my eyes leak!
Not at all keen on the New Orleans version!
I like Person of Interest too, but one of my favourites ever was our own home-grown Spooks!

Clark (Nicoticket) reckons that the bottles of ready to use liquid should last longer if kept cool & dark - around 50f. A table top fridge should do that OK - and apparently, the brown glass bottles keep it fresher for longer too.

Bob some some questions if you don't mind answering
Do I need to marry my batteries
If they do and I mark 1 2 3 4
Would I have to put on the left no1 then no2 on the right and then keep them that way

It is best to marry them - you don't have to use them in the same place in the mod.

I normally swap them around each time in both the mod and the charger, so no1 in the mod goes into no2 in the charger and then into no2 in the mod etc.

If you are getting the i4 then when charging they need to be charged together so, ports 1&3 or 2&4

Well done on the 6 months! ...I'm not so bad now, but loved seeing that counter tick up every day ...kept wondering if I'd fail, but my own stubbornness kicked inand would never have let me.

I smoked for almost 50 years, and for the couple of years before I stopped, smoked 36 per day ....but, I had no intention whatsoever of stopping smoking. I'd never managed before, so stopped even thinking about it ..the very thought made me reach for them!

Ever curious, I bought a disposable with the weekly grocery order in October 2013. It sat in my desk tidy beside the pens (after I'd had a taste of it) - and at Christmas I popped it in my pocket and sneaked a few puffs of it while we were out to lunch.
It came into it's own for my 6 monthly BP check mid January ...used it for a couple of hours before I went. Helped keep it down and I didn't smell of cigarettes!
I was intrigued when I realised I hadn't craved a cigarette - so again, purely out of curiosity I thought I'd see if I could smoke less by using it, so got another few with the groceries.
First day I smoked 1/4 less .....then it got to 1/3, 1/2, and then when it got to 6 I suddenly realised that there was a possibility that I could perhaps keep that up ...or even get it to less.
There came 2 days when I had one when I got up and actually smoked it outside, and the second one around 7pm.
I laughed to think that I was going to be trying a whole day without even one. On Jan 28th, I had that first day without a cigarette and was absolutely amazed that me of all people ..me who would plan my life around my cigarettes rather than suffer in silence without, could actually go for a whole day without one ..and not even worry about it - quite the opposite, I was overjoyed! My cigarettes were still there on the shelf under the monitor ..nothing to get panicky about.

Three weeks later, I coughed, and my husband sternly told me I should stop smoking! I just fell about laughing! Three whole weeks, not a cigarette smoked in the house, and no-one, not even the only other person living in the house had noticed.
It had been my gleeful little secret. I wasn't going to kick myself if I failed, and no-one else could either, because they didn't even know! I couldn't believe nobody noticed!

If I could give up - by accident - and using those little disposables, I think most people will be able to.
Yes, it's nice to be able to buy the better, more efficient batteries etc., but to be honest, if I hadn't developed the breathing difficulties with PG 6 weeks in, I'd probably still use them because I liked the Greensmoke and V2 cartridges.
In fact, who knows - I may have stopped altogether by now.
But, I don't mind - the advances with batteries, mods, tanks and even better liquids has been quite an adventure ..and of course, the company here is brilliant.

You should both be proud of yourselves - 6 months is good and will soon turn into a year ..and that really is a good feeling! :)

Spinner do a mini version: Vision Spinner 2 Mini Vapros VV 850mAh Twist Battery - Latest Model From Vision - 100% Genuine (Silver): Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care and at FT https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10007497/1636903-vision-spinner-style-650mah-variable-voltage
(To be honest, for all it's another 'chunky' one, the iPOW is a far better battery.)

Terry, Bob & Ian will all tell you that around a year ago, I said firmly 'no way' when they said I needed a mod! ...they corrupted me ..yes, that's what it was ;)
Actually, they've been more than helpful when it comes to knowing what does what and which to avoid :)

Probably

Now that was one I did like, but as usual they didn't bother carrying on with it
I suppose it was quite costly to produce ...and perhaps they got too close to fact at times!
I love spy fiction - The Daniel Silva ones have been good so far (13 of them I think) He's Mossad but works all over the place, and collaborates with various government agencies, and I recognise a lot of the London places he's been to, and he's an art restorer too, so makes it even better for me.

Three brilliant British films to watch from the last 15 yrs
1 best laid plans
2 Dead mans shoes
3 Harry brown
These are not feel good films but the acting is amazing
At least three oscar worthy performances on that little lot
Can't say I recall seeing the first two, but Harry Brown was extremely good!
Saw one with Clive Owen that was quite good recently too.

Happy Easter everyone.

Also enjoyed reading that prank on your fellow drivers Ian!

It was a cracker, really brightened up the day that did. I'm still giving some Driver's grief about it

Haven't heard anything about the d2 & d4, I know Burnie has one or the other and likes it, I have 2 x i4s myself, although it is only occasionally that I have to use both at the same time, will have a hunt around about those others though.

EDIT: knew there was a reason I didn't like the XTAR chargers even though they are supposed to be better - it only has a 12v input so uses a transformer plug, whereas the Intellicore models is just a figure of eight lead with a normal plug on the end (useful if you travel).

I've got the i4 too Bob. Been going strong now for well over a year. Sometimes, I'll have it running all day charging up batteries, never let me down yet.

I'd like to try the Jax range and the Isle of custard, and Charlies is really good.Spoilt for choice.

Charlie's is lovely George. When I first got some, I left it for a week and it tasted pretty muted in flavour. After 2 weeks, the flavour really started to come out. Once it starts changing colour it's bloody lovely mate.

Cheap Mech Mods and a few regulated ones, but he is supposed to be going to make a cheap wood squonker:

View attachment 424483

his FB site (only available to FB members) is : https://www.facebook.com/groups/134284023376823/?fref=nf but he does have a normal site as well : Affordable Mods where you can see some of his work, please note there are some weird ones here and some that are x-rated.

Great find Bob. I've joined his FB page, just waiting for confirmation now. I've had my eye on a couple of regulated squonkers from China, but at the moment their only on 40 thieves and not the express site yet. But, a wooden regulated squonker would be better still :)

Congratulations mate. That's a great milestone to reach. Well done to both you and Tracey :)

Everyone needs at least one mod in their life, whether it's an iStick or a Provari. Once you've been "modded" there's no going back ;)

Vapemail, my neighbour dropped off a bottle of apple concentrate that had been pushed through her letterbox
It's from Vapours-R-Us in Hamer, Rochdale, is that you Ian ?

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Pretty close to where I live mate, only a mile or two away.

But Hamer is a bit of a rough area, I live in the posh part of Rochdale

Vapemail for me too yesterday. Didn't post about it, cos I was knackered when I finished work. Plus it sounds like ECF was having a few issues too, so probably a good job I stayed off last night.

My Quacks concentrates arrived, so they've been stashed away in the vape cave for future use :D

Is one the Geyscano if so, I would wait a while, a lot of people have complained about the Logo and they are going to bring it out without it

I don't think I do either, and who are you calling a delinquent

I still have my Evod and smaller batteries in a box - just in case! But, happy with what I'm using now! :)

You probably warned me not to listen to the others Bob! - ever the voice of reason ;).......they kept sending subliminal messages!

I was talking about a table top freezer a few days ago, and I'm also wondering if a similar sized fridge would be a good idea to keep ready made fresher for longer? .....has anyone seen a table top 'side by side' double door type?

Think you can only buy them as separates, but if you look around you could get a matching pair
