Thanks Terry! That's reassuring. I don't want to start getting too high if I can help it :)

I think you are in for a nice treat Trish :) Next on my agenda is to do my subs, just like i did yours, and my kayfuns. When i do them over the weekend i will let you know how they behave, hopefully as good as my KF`s

Slick advertising? ...when it says '50% off'

What have I missed out on

Poor kitty! Thankfully their stress doesn't seem to last long :) ...can't say I heard a cat snore before!

They don't normally - because they hardly ever go into a deep sleep - that's where the saying "Cat Nap" comes from

I've never had any luck with washing coils, so don't bother any more. I did think I'd put enough liquid down the top of the coil before putting it back on the tank, and I did leave it for perhaps half an hour - I'll try putting more on the top of it next time!
Thankfully, the one that tasted so unpleasant yesterday is fine now! :) The Subtanks seem to taste fine for me at 10W and don't burn my mouth like they did at 7.5-8W

I always used to wash the silica ones, because they didn't really get burn marks just gunked up like the coils, so it was easy to wash them and then dry fire them to dry the wick out. When I did my first subtank I put a few drops down the top and a drop on each side hole, filled the tank, let it soak for about 30' then took a few draws without firing, just to make sure before doing a short firing vape to see how it tasted.

Won't need to use mine at such high watts will I ?

Why not, you might enjoy it

Like Dave says on something good like a nitecore i2 around 4-5 hours I'd say if drained low, I think most box mods say they are done at about 3.2 or 3.3v.

That charger will do it slowly which is meant to be healthier for the battery, charging via USB in a mod might be quicker depending on the mod but depends on your preference.

I find for single battery mods, if it has a magnetic back then easier to take battery out and use a proper charger, otherwise use USB, but for mods that use 2 or more then always take them out to charge - quicker using a dedicated charger, USB is slower, if using USB then better when battery is about halfway or less, as it doesn't take so long and these batteries don't have the memory problem so topping up doesn't hurt them

Nothing yet Bob:
Nicoticket coupon - 50% off your next order, one time use per customer! Use once and share with your friends!! No expiration (yet!)

BOGO SALE

COUPON CODE: BOGO

ONE TIME USE PER CUSTOMER - GET 50% OFF STOREWIDE

EXPIRATION? UNDETERMINED.

I haven't used mine yet :) Some people are really stocking up on their favourites! I'm limited with what I can use - either has to be a max VG one or a 50/50 that's strong enough flavoured that I can dilute it with something like a VG Crème Brule and still taste the original.
Clark said if people try using the code more than once, he'll close the offer - I think some people may have been trying/doing that. So as long as it all runs well, the code will remain available for the time being at least. Think he'll give some notice before closing the offer anyway.

Of course! Our smaller dog does that ...she keeps opening one eye to make sure she doesn't miss anything

That's what I did, and also with the new coil ..so I don't know why the new one tasted so unpleasant.

I might well do, but I try to use as little liquid as possible because even VG can give me congestion, and a lot of what I use still has some PG in it.
Also, there's a bigger hit aspect - I'm trying to lower my nicotine dependence.
Seeing I do use mine quite a lot, using something that delivers more liquid and nicotine isn't what I want.

That makes sense now Trisha I wondered why you didn't like high watts.
The hand to mouth, puffing and blowing out actions may not be easy to detach from, but just perhaps, I could eventually get free of nicotine, or at least keep it for occasional use ...time will tell.
I don't think I'll ever get used to VG completely, and definitely won't with PG, so I try to avoid needing to take any medication, but even being fairly careful, I still get spells of restricted breathing.

I done a mix of English Trifle at 23% flavour and it is a lot stronger tasting.I find 20% a little low on a lot of concentrates apart from Twisted and Sweet Strawberry by Capella
I thought that with the ones I've made - I'm going to add more when I get around to making some more Trifle etc.
Although it's not up to date with newer ones added, when you look at their suggested use for the Chefs concentrates, it makes sense that some need more:

ABC - 20-30%
Apple Pie & Irish Cream Custard- 25-35%
Banoffee Cookie Dough - 25-35%
Blueberry C-bomb - 20-30%
Blue Bandit - 15-25%
Caramel Cappuccino - 10-20%
Comp Juice - 15-25%
Confusion - 15-25%
Fluffy Nuts - 15-25%
Green Eyed Monster - 20-30%
Hawaiian Pud - 20-30%
Honey and Lemon Menthol - 20-30%
Jungle Juice - 20-30%
Lew's Brew - 20-30%
Mint Choc Vapetto - 25-35%
Orange Custard Cream - 25-35%
Posset 25-35%
RY-..... - 15-25%
Strawberry Vapetto - 25-35%
Spotted .... & Custard 20%-30%
The Jamaican Ginger - 25-35%
Twisted - 5-15%

My Nicoticket BOGO order has shipped.
Haven't vaped a baccy based juice for over 6 months,Ordered two from the four which is a tobacco.Wakonda and virus
The other two are Creme brulee and gravity.Hope they are all good, ordered 60ml of each.

Last time i tried to order a tobacco juice(Bobas bounty)LF came back to me as out of stock.Second time that's happened from there and once from HOL.

When I read this post, I was so confused. I thought I had posted it; that's how closely it mirrors my Nicoticket BOGO order. Haha plus I haven't had a tobacco vape in several months. I ordered Virus, Wakonda, Absolute Creme Brulee and Custard's Last Stand. :)

Nothing for me then, I wasn't too keen on NT juices

How do you think I got down to 3mg so quick :)

Think you'll be pleasantly surprised with those. I like Virus fresh when it arrives and for a month or so, with Wakonda, I like it well steeped - used some last week made in November, and it's lovely!

OK :)

How do you think I got down to 3mg so quick :)
Yes, most people need to step down a bit with sub-ohm - even without, 50% of mine are 3mg now, and I often mix the 3 with 6 too. I have a number that are Zero nicotine and can reduce others by mixing them in. I've got to a stage where I barely think about what strength I'm using. Mint Choc Vapetto is still 6mg, but my other every day ones are always bought in a mix of both.

To go lower with sub-ohm may be pushing it too far for me just yet ...and that's without choking myself up by using more liquid

Got an opinion on this?

Seems nice - Kangxin is apparently a company that has been producing some of the clones, but word is they want the brand to stand on it's own, so have hopefully produced something well made & reliable. Tiny bit higher than the iStick 50, but slightly less in width, spring loaded pin and takes one 18650.

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1...xin-mini-vf-kx-50d-temperature-control-50w-vw

Good idea to pre-order for once? - (with FT, can always cancel) ...or wait until there's some reviews?

Upgraded Temp Protection from their Vaporflask offering, Focal are also offering it - if you want to go down the Temp. Protection route then it will be a good starter for you, it will still work with normal coils but not in TP mode

I find with my iStick 50 as it doesn't have removable batteries I top it up here and there more than let it go down near empty, whereas things like the rDNA 40 I let it discharge to empty because I can't be bothered to swap batteries around (I know pretty lazy)

Istick 50 lasts for days though so not a problem, been really impressed with the battery life.

I tried zero nic yesterday made a strong menthol, for the throat hit.It was fine in the house, went for a walk with the missus and dog and every time smelled a cigarette. I could have eat one.Had two hours on the Subtank.chainvaping when I got home.
Ha-ha! Got to walk before you run ....been there! I found there's a little more to it than mind over matter! The little demons in your brain know what you're up to!
How long since you stopped smoking Marcus?

Vapemail: 2 x Aspire Atlantis 2
Nice! You'll be trying those before long ..before the day's out?

This is worth a look as well re Korea: Korean War on Vaping | Planet of the Vapes
Ah, why am I not surprised ...another government raking it in from manufacture, yet telling lies to it's population ...in order gain yet more profit!
This bit:
Ignoring all evidence being presented to them, the Korean government has vowed to get tough on shopping channels and fine vapers who use their devices outside of smoking areas. Unsurprisingly, vapers are accusing them of forcing them away from ecigs just to increase revenue from tobacco taxes rather than having than holding public health at the forefront.

On CBS news last night, it was reported that they are increasingly worried about young people starting to use e-cigs ...and the first one interviewed was a college student who said she'd smoked from 14 and recently changed over to e-cigs. Great, she said, they're almost like using a real cigarette but taste better!
Well surely - if their young people are smoking cigarettes and change to e-cigs ..it's a good thing?
Oh no, he went on to state that some have poisonous chemicals in them, and some flavours, vanilla in particular is good in cakes, but when inhaled is very harmful!!!
Another government that never listens to the professionals research!

The CDC spokesman report on CBS news: CDC reveals "alarming" news about teen e-cigarette use - CBS News

So, all this effort made by flavouring companies to eliminate anything or most irritants from the custard type flavours, is all in vain? ..just like all the other major advances made this past year in particular!

Upgraded Temp Protection from their Vaporflask offering, Focal are also offering it - if you want to go down the Temp. Protection route then it will be a good starter for you, it will still work with normal coils but not in TP mode
Yes, saw the Focal site, and the Ali-aba one.
