1.5ohm KANGER SUBTANK VERTICAL coils

Looks like the review was right! I just tried the 1.5ohm with my subox and Doughnut King, which I use every day ..flavour muted. I left the coil to soak up liquid for quite some time before trying it, and after 15 minutes of using it, I can confirm that the flavour is not anywhere near as good!
There's every chance I'll throw this coil away before the afternoon is out!

I found similar with the vertical VOCC coils Kanger just brought out ..hope they still continue with the standard V2 ones!
The old horizontal bcc ones for things like an Evod are fine though with the cotton.

I just emailed Sweet Vapes to ask if they'll change the 1.5 for the 1.2! The site states: No Shipping Saturday June20TH :)

The thrill is in the chase
Whatever floats yer boat, as they say
I'm not above sitting to the final seconds of an auction and bidding, but then, I know what time that happens - half the time I forget until a couple of minutes too late, but I've managed to get a few bargains for my painting props!

Think i'll get a batch of the Kanger Ni 200 coils ordered in case they change those as well.
I'm yet to try mine or the Kangxin torch mod :)
Must get to that in the coming week!

Right now, I have 400ml MCV to mix .... :D

Now then. (I won't repeat that - it's gone out of style) :) .

What's all this stuff about temperature controlled mods?

Will I get a better vape from one than I get from my isticks?

Should I bother, and if so, why?

These sound like lazy newbie questions (and they are) - but unless these things are going to significantly improve my tootle-puffer vape then why should I go there?

Right now I'm looking at bows'n'arrows and stuff (doing a beginners archery course) and the last thing I need is to whack out a wad of cash on vaping yet again...:)

All help appreciated - ta. :)

... Now then yourself! - you reminded me of a dear friend who would always greet me with 'Now then' - thing is, she always added 'trouble' ...but, I was an unruly teen at the time, and she a clever young lady of 20. ...I digress

Well, When I saw the original green version of this, I liked it, and Terry thought I may like using the Ni200 coils that need a TC mod, so I got a Kangxin - nice looking if you don't mind the little beacon on top  $45.47 Kangxin Mini VF KX-50D Temperature Control 50W VW MOD - 1-50W / 1*18650 / aluminum alloy / grey at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I'm yet to use it though, and I will be following the instructions here when I do! No huge outlay, and can be used as a 'normal' one if I prefer it.

Ha-ha ...sounds like an echo from my own mind! :)

Thanks Pictor. You're usually right about most things (cringe cringe grovel grovel) :) .

I'm pretty well pleased with my current set-up and I suppose I expect to hear that a temp-controlled vape should taste like a good smoke, a good beer and a good roast beef dinner all at the same time. If people don't tell me that then I think that, for now, I won't bother.

 I wouldn't say that - just tell it how it is/seems to me!

Right! when you find one that tastes like that, let me in on it before the rush! ;)

To be honest, as long as stuff tastes really good, and the equipment and accessories work well, I'm happy. Not one to tinker or continually adjust - just want it to work well. End of.

No doubt I'll be trying the TC one with the Ni200 coils before too long - my opinion will not be artificially enhanced :D

Hey up Pipe-o, how goes it ?

As you have pointed out, if you are happy with what you have then why bother, But...If you are looking for an exceptional vape, that is full on flavour, and can fog a room up in a couple of minutes, then i would suggest you give it a try.
When i look at new mods now, if it hasn`t got TC, i don`t give it a second glance. As Trisha says, you can buy ready made coils, or if you are like me and plenty of other folk can rebuild your own.

They really do give a lovely vape Pipe, and i cannot see it getting any better Than this. :)

Hi Terry! I'll be trying my grey 'torchy' TC soon ...hoping for a good result! :)

Did you see where I just tried the 1.5ohm OCC Vertical coil? ...not good!
I'd ordered some last night before I remembered I had one coil - cancelled it today!

Just giving the virtual doughnut a whirl ( Raspberry ) Very good, but not quite on par with the King.
No, not as good, but better than the strawberry version, and not too bad at all! :)

Does it do the roast-beef- dinner thing? And if so, what should I get?

Sorry -I seem to have made a mess of this quote.

Still can't get used to the new ways...grumble...moan...:)

Yes got to start at some point Trish, and like i have said before we will all be ready to advise if you get stuck. :) I am pretty certain you will be really impressed with the TC mod/s, i have never had a vape so pure, and clean tasting !
I did see your post RE: the vertical coils yes, and even though i have never tried them, there is a reason. Even the Kanthal ones used to get slated by a lot of reviewers.

It`s okay pipe, i got it  Definitely does the roast beef dinner, with a royal gravy  Which one you get pipe, depends really just on style. The Vaporflask is a good one and is very ergonomic and sits in the hand perfectly.:) I`m not too sure if they have them at FT, but plenty of other places do. Have a look round and if you get stuck for links, just give us a shout.:)

Tried a test on the new Subtank coils against the older coils. Both coils where .5.On two Subox's at 25w and filled with Trifle heaven and (drum roll please). The older coils are way better, used the both of them for at least two hours, just in case the newer ones needed longer to break in.The older ones give a lot more flavour

Hopefully Kangertech will make some changes to the newer coils.Just in case I ordered a white Sub tank and two packs of 1.2 coils from Sweet Vapes

Sent whilst eating humble pie
