Well - how do they teach them that?! ...just took a quick look at the Dyfi nest - all three laid asleep, parent sat guard on the side of the nest - all of a sudden, one jumps up, backs up to the edge of the nest, and 'goes to the toilet' out over the edge clear of the nest! So funny! Then plonks back to it's spot and goes back to sleep.
Puts a whole new understanding on that saying about S------- in one's own nest!

not been that far up into Scotland, Oban is the highest up the country I've been.
Inverness is the furthest north I've been on that side, on the west it would be Glasgow, Greenock & Gourock, but that's not the farthest North I have been Europe-wise, that pleasure goes to Narvik in Norway in February '97 - 220 km inside the Arctic Circle, it was icy with snow in places ten feet high and twilight at midday, but not really that cold - well I didn't wear my gloves.

Nice to see the three sleeping side by side in that nest, and a parent sat on the edge of the nest dozing, but obviously alert.
Parent awake looking windswept  middle one just stretched one wing out - it was quite long

Tried a twisted Ni200 29ga build the other day, worked really well actually (was worried but easily got it over 0.1ohm) and it gives nice thick vapour and great flavour, a bit bolder than normal nickel builds.

Castigador mechanical box is working nicely, never used a dual 18650 mod before so the extra battery life is nice, I took it apart (not too hard) and fiddled with the connections a bit so they make better contact. Overall pleased with it. just so simple once you've got it all sorted.

Bought some Boots Glycerin today (£1.39 for 200ml) as I was in town and am out of chefs VG, but didn't want to place an order as I don't think I need any more concentrate at the moment. Have read lots of people have used it and said it's fine, anyone here had a go?

On a different note, new laws and regulations and stuff in the US are seeming to get more serious, the videos I watch on youtube from US reviewers often mention whats going on and it seems worse by the week. Watched phil's video about Vape Expo New Jersey, what a ridiculous shame. The event opened and the health dept dropped by and started fining people for vaping!

Sounds fun but tiring! They're hard work in those early days. Our little one knows practically everything we say to her, including 'No' ..but she has selective deafness - and she'll be 8 at the end of the month!

Uggh! Sophie did when we first got her, but tripe had been part of her diet. Was OK once we got her off that :) Only thing we mustn't give either of them is even a morsel of ham/pork/bacon ...guaranteed to cause a less than pleasant aroma!

Very Hard work yes, i`m knackered with her, but in a nice way  I have got her on jolley`s K9 premium puppy dry food at the moment, but i just ordered some James Wellbeloved dry puppy food for her, to give her a bit of Variety.
But talk about a healthy appetite ! apart from her main meals, starting with scrambled egg for her brekkie, she will happily munch away on any treats i decide to give her  At least she is leaving her piles outside now though, so thats a bonus, i can put up with the niffs.

Hi Adam @dw117
As long as it is 100% Pure Vegetable Glycerin which Boots stuff is then no problem, and probably cheaper than what a Vape store will charge.
Is the Castigator a parallel mod then?
I also watched some of those vids about NJ, what a farce, hope they win the court case over the fines, bet it was mainly down to the Senator that was on the scene and the Health Dept. had to look as though they were doing their job because of him.
Seen the latest over here - Brighton wants to ban smoking on the beach - if that gets passed then they will include vaping as well.

Think i prefer the farts Bob  Unless your cats eat their own sick up that is

No they don't, think that's a doggy thing - it's never a lot though, enough to just pick up with a couple of sheets of kitchen roll folded over, so not too bad, sometimes you can hear him start coughing, open the door quick and shove him outside before it happens

I remember us coming over from Arran in a storm and having to dock in Gourock later in the day than originally scheduled ...we'd taken my new car as it was smaller and cheaper for the ferry. I drove down the coast road in the dark with waves crashing over the road! It was quite a hairy trip home!

Parent awake looking windswept  middle one just stretched one wing out - it was quite long
I saw a live feed earlier in the year of one of the parents sitting on those eggs and literally covered in inches of snow ..only her/his head was showing above the snow. What dedication. Surprised they have the energy to set off on that long journey so soon after raising their chicks.

Cats very rarely do f**ts, they tend to throw up instead, usually because they get fur balls stuck in their throat, and Fred loves ham ;)
Our dogs love it too ...we don't love them if they eat it though

I hadn't heard about that - I'm supposing NJ and NY are states that have banned it publicly. How totally ridiculous! Hardly likely to be many people there that don't use the stuff or aren't with someone who does ..even if it was harmful - all of which is totally unfounded!

JW has been one of our dogs every day foods since being puppies. We give them the Lamb & Rice, and Sophie also gets a 50/50 mix with Royal Canin that's designed not to cause wind, and thus lessen the risk of bloat (fatal condition for deep chested dogs that can kill in minutes). We mix something tasty in with it too: either a 100g of some human grade pet food that we get from Zooplus in Germany, or an ounce of cooked minced beef. They get two meals a day - again, advised for deep chested dogs.

But talk about a healthy appetite ! apart from her main meals, starting with scrambled egg for her brekkie, she will happily munch away on any treats i decide to give her  At least she is leaving her piles outside now though, so thats a bonus, i can put up with the niffs.
Sophie used to get scrambled egg for breakfast, and porridge for supper: semi skimmed milk with a drizzle of honey on it ..good for them! She'd only been here for two weeks before she started coming in here bang on 10pm and staring at me until I made her supper!
Sophie would/will eat anything - she loves a plate of salad!
I only give her a treat once a day: right after she'd been out for a walk - started when she was a large young hooligan who would bound into the kitchen and literally knock me over in enthusiastic greeting, so I started having a biscuit in my hand and making her sit down for it - worked a treat, and I still do it even though she's too gentle to knock me over now.
Georgia isn't motivated by food though, and can be a pain to feed. She does like those little Caramel crunchy biscuits for with coffee!

Yes, I'm sure they will. Are we seeing something like banning the use of rather than ban the actual liquid & equipment? ..or is it just the start of something that will go far deeper I wonder.

The little one is guaranteed to be sick if she gets a broad bean or a piece of pear. Sophie only ever if she's got a bit of grass stuck in her throat, and that's rare.

Yeah parallel mechanical mod, nice with RDAs as then the voltage doesn't drop off so quickly.

EDIT: ALso the boots vg is "apparently sourced from rapeseed, coconut, palm kernels or palm oils according to Boots." so should be fine

Upto 500°F on the 40w istick now, which gives roughly the same vape as 450° on a dna40 device.
On the vid i posted last week from Mikevapes that showed the dry cotton test,he said this would probably be found to be the case.
As he felt in TC the device seemed under powered.

I'm waiting to see what Win 10 is like at the end of the month,
Don't know if you know of this site or get their newsletters, but this is the latest one - under the AV testing article, there's one about W10 updating:
AV testing: Is your antivirus app doing its job? | Series | Windows Secrets

Just saying that if they get their way in banning smoking on the beach then they will then probably ban the use of e-cigs as well, because they are the same aren't they (oh no they blinking well ain't )
I have no doubt - very twisted logic, but they haven't a clue what they're talking about!
I do wish these people would educate themselves about that which they seek to ban.

Oh, you have a little puddle to go with the bigger one, she looks very cute :)
Yes, that's Georgia.
We had a black miniature (not so miniature) and a very tiny red toy - we lost the first two weeks after my Dad died, and just over a year later, the little red one (Holly) who was only 7. She'd been the last of 5 losses in that time.
We got Sophie a month after Holly died, but the hole left by Holly was still upsetting for us both as it had been rather tragic that she died.
Seeing this, our groomer put us in touch with a friend who is a show judge and also breeds poodles - she had a 3 week old litter of three, and my word, did she check us out before agreeing to let us have one - we chose which one and when she was 14 weeks old, the lady who had become a good friend, arrived here from Hawick with her: Georgia had arrived. Place has ever been the same since! She's a little terror, but awfully sweet with it. Quite adorable, and Sophie, who was only 18 months old, welcomed her right away and played all day despite the massive size difference.

and be very very careful if you venture out with your nice shiny black Subox:
Oh my!
