Yah I've already changed it to cotton bacon. Which I happened to try. I'm not sure I'll buy it again. I don't care for muji I can't get it to wick properly compared to KGD which worked well. Cotton bacon is softer and fluffy better. But I find the pick and pull a pain to get the correct size. I'll probably just buy another pack of KGD. So simple.

Thanks.fkr the feedback on the build. I felt I was building it just fine. I just feel the suntan mini for.moith to lung is an afterthought it can do but isn't made for or particularly good at it. Compared to.lroper flavor tanks. But everyone has different preferences and tastes.

Yes, i think that is part of the problem with building your own, there are that many choices for wicks etc, it become a bit of a minefield. Stick with what works best for you :)

Can anyone tell me how large of a square to use to wrap a mesh feeder straw on the gs2? I've never worked with mesh and I really don't know anything other than it has to be torched before using it. No idea what the technique is to wrap tight. How much to use (height is obvious) I tried YouTube and a post here but no luck so of anyone can offer some.guidance I'd appreciate it. I used the ptfe tunes from the fast tech clone kit and it just floods like crazy. Cotton works OK but it's fickle on staying put.

I just find the subtasks mini lackluster I find flavor men, the reason spits at me no matter how thick or thin the cotton is... Even got the new base and most. Importantly I find the vapery way too hot and low vapor production

Perhaps. You can recommend a build for me in nickel? Kanthal ? I think I remember having better luck with kanthal than nickel I build them fine I just find them mediocre

Appreciate your feedback on it..

I'll post a build. The spitting thing drives me
Crazy. I feel like I've tried every way to coil and wick under the moon. As for the flavor compared to something like the gt2 or kayfun 4 I just don't think it holds a candle. Evap chamber and center bore are what they are. And they matter a lot in flavor.

Edit. This build I tried a large diameter coil. It isn't wicking well when the juice gets low due to the amount of cotton. This build spot less than most.

I do find spitting an issue with the subtank mini RBA. Note mine is the older style with the kayfun style juice channels rather than those holes in the side.

I have found the following minimises the spitting but it is still spittier than my other tanks:

3mm 25ga kanthal spaced out maybe 5 or 6 wraps at about 0.8-1.0 ohms wicked with muji using less cotton than these pictures. I trim it really short (almost like a pancake wick) but with that newer style RBA deck you probably don't want to do it this way.

I find I get less spitting if I close the airflow a bit, but nowhere near MTL draw territory as that's not really my thing. I like a restrictive lung draw (airflow 3/4 open maybe) at about 25w on the subtank mini.

EDIT: I'd suggest trying out different "tightness" of cotton/rayon/whatever in your coil to see what effect it has on spitting

Yah the newer deck is better but does require more cotton, unfortunately with 3 mm and a snug cotton like I enjoy it doesn't wick properly. I had the old style and now the new style, I figured for ~$5 at fasttech I'd try it. It definitely improves things and mouth to lung with it and temp mode is better, but the flavor still can't compete.

Speaking of which. A bit spur of the moment ...I've been looking into the mark bugs gem atomizer. I had posted an iPad for sale ages ago, an older one, and it sold out of the blue, and a Gem was available, must have been the only one in stock on the internet so I grabbed it! I figured, I final,y made it past my longest no smoking period, the iPad sold and provided money I'd forgotten about and it was there for the taking.

Id like to find a simple 18350/650 or just 18650 mod that either matches the finish or accents it with a second color and matching drip tip - on fasttech. For mech mods I use them so rarely and really as a fashion accessory so I need to find it at a great price. But it would be nice to be able to have a bit of flash with the gem and something so if anyone has any ideas of what would go well that would be great.

Two pet peeves

I hate clicky bottom fire buttons that are chunky to use snag on themselves etc
I hate locking rings that must be set or mods just sit firing away in a pocket.

Honestly I love the LPG MOD. Great button that never pocket fires. I do not like my stingray. It looks nice enough but I hate using it anywhere but on the nightstand, which defeats the purpose for me. It's not smooth, the ring stinks.

Maybe a matte black mod with silver accents? Or something a bit brighter?

I'm not even sure what the gem finish color would be called. I'd call it battleship grey. It's not brushed stainless, so I'm not sure what to search for.

Thanks for the help! I'm super excited to get the gem, good morning to the UK

Chefs seem to have another new range of concentrates - the percentages to use seem to vary with each one too. Quite a selection, and one or two do sound good ...there's even two custards.

I've never heard of them though- 'The Yummy Range' The Yummy Range - ChefsVapour

Does the atomiser have a protruding 510 so your new mechanical can be hybrid?

Those buggers are tragic.
They make RM look like a crack unit.
For us, it's a chap with a little van, and he's very efficient - always comes on the expected day, even delivers bank holidays too if people are at home. We even have his mobile number to let him know if we need the delivery day/time changing.

I think both Hermes and Yodel deliveries depend very much on the people they pay to do the deliveries - apart from bigger items, it seems to be a sort of franchise where people get a delivery early morning of all the days packages, and then deliver with their own vehicles.

Might be out in the sticks, but I think in the cities they are run more like DHL etc, I've had a few deliveries recently, one today for the missus and each time it's been a different chap doing the delivery.

Yodel do still have a full size van for larger items, and that is very much like any other delivery service, but smaller packages are always delivered by the ones using their own vehicles. Think they get a particular area to operate in. If yours are in small or private vehicles, there may be more of them in larger areas.
Can't say I've seen a bigger Hermes van.

Think we'll be getting a large sack of R Canin dog biscuit delivered by the full size Yodel van tomorrow or Friday.
